The notch in the oil pan is a great place for a single can..........then the bike will look cleaner w/o cans out back.
I know generally there is no muffler, but it does sound good with one and gets less attention.

I'd drag that filter on the ground first ride.........
I got mine to fit under the plastic with a lil work.

The pipe was lower than the bump....the filter was inside.

Making a plenum for INSIDE the airbox was tough

My air filter is on the right side, and there is NO way I could fit a filter inside the fairing. The inlet where you clamp the filter, is about 1/2 an inch from the fairing. I wasnt too happy about that.

I figured kits would be like that. I did it all myself before any kits were sold. I placed the turbo to the right and low.....so had to use a pump for oil return. The oil went under the pan and then pumped up over through the center of the engine and back in on the right side. This would have allowed me to add an oil cooler, but never got to that.

I was getting a bit of agro from some neighbours not long ago so have layed the bike up for a while whilst the roads are so full of the farmers spreading soil all over the roads. My bike has got in a real state, anyway.....I am just on with making a silencer to go under the fairing under the sump as previously discussed.
Its a real pain, narrower at the front and tapered away to the rear becoming 30mm wider. Trying to keep it high enough too and having enough volume to make a difference. I think I will also add the original rear end peice of cone as is on Romans. Ill post some pics if I become satisfied with the outcome....

I know zero about turbos on motorcycles but I think I would want my air cleaner out of the fairing where it could get the coolest air possible.

When the bike is moving the air coming in is just as cool as any.
Also having it outside the bike in flowing air it is subject to a pressure drop....like a draw tube or aircraft wing for example...........Bernoulli principle.
With it located in an area where the air must slow down.........it is being forced into the filter.

Old pics........parts in storage
TD05 turbine ........basically like from a Mitsubishi Evo......in a regular housing. I bought it off ebay from China. Cheaper blow-off valve and wastegate.......I have 3 and 6 psi springs.........instead of using built-in gate and cheesy vacuum can. Check valve in oil line due to low mounting position and a gear type oil pump for return to pan. Boost controller.........never did use it. Some welded up aluminum airtubes and regular steel pipe for the header. I cut the mounting flanges from the stock so I'd have a proper mating. It's all totally redneck
