Stock???? Oh HELL NO! LOL I would like to keep it stock about as long as it takes to get one hot young woman to ride on the back of it with me and then I'm going full on modified! Buh-bye street bike. No more passengers, lots of parts removed or replaced with aftermarket and I'm really seriously considering going stage three turbo one day in the the not too distant future. I don't care if I have to ride the bike one mile at a time on a raceway. I want to go 240 mph and I damned sure learned the street is no place to do that. If I can do this once in my life at the cost of $40k, I'll do it. I'll drive my old Tundra all the rest of my days but I must have a 200+ mph motorcycle before I take my dirt nap.

I already found the alarming restrictions of the stock ECU. 5000 rpm, WOT, the engine goes into a fury. There must be all kinds of untapped power below that. ....I mean, the 14R feels plenty strong stock but I want all it has at every speed. Modules were the thing twenty years ago and they work, the whole Dynojet setup. I will rebuild my Gen1 with all those cool electronics I had so much fun with. The 14R will be Woolich flashed since that's the latest thing and from what I've seen years ago, the absolute best. Of course I'll have the whole Woolich setup to self tune on the 14R. I really don't know if I'll risk doing that on the street though. LOL I did that kind of stuff when I didn't have much to lose in life. Now I do. I'll pay money to avoid the consequences because I learned those consequences will happen if you play long enough. If you're going to take a risk, only do it if the odds are overwhelmingly in your favor. You lose, you lose. At my age, I need to hedge my bets heavily. Glad I survived one crash, don't expect to necessarily survive another at the speeds I want to go.

and here it is Sunday, just about noon, mid eighties, deer are hot and staying in the woods I hope. I'm going out to feel that 5000 rpm berserker mode somewhere. About time I redline this baby just for a half second.
