Rook, I need your expert feedback as an art major on which of these color combinations work best. To be honest, I like them all, some more than others though.

Are we talking the last four and is it just the gear or is it the gear with the bike altogether?

Last six actually Rook, I have four more to go, will do the Aprilia RSV4 next. Bike and riding gear combination, what works and what doesn't in your expert opinion? So far I like all of them, the fluorescent green works with a lot of them, I especially like it with the fluorescent red on the little Aprilia RS660. Very colorful.

Now THAT is SHARP! If the bike has a more busy scheme, I think keeping the gear as simple in color as possible is best.

Also, the Ducati: Any Ducati is a recognized bike even by people who don't ride. As far as I know, they don't come in any color but red. Ducati's appearance is pretty simple, broken into only a few chunks of black and red. It's very tasteful and it's iconic of the brand. It would be best to stick with all black gear on a Ducati. All of it, solid black. That's not very high vis but if you're just going for style, that's the way to go. Don't let your appearance compete with the bike, you're a black chunk like the wheels fender and engine.

You're going to be spending big bucks on gear if you take my advice.

You are in good company sir, the S1000RR combo is my personal favorite and others agree.

I think the red/black below looks better with the white/black Dainese pants for more contrast.

I also really like this one, the fluorescent green leathers sets off the fluorescent red paint on the RS660.

Glad you wear it, hope you won't need it but if you do, it will save you some skin. ...especially the boots and gloves. Just think how vulnerable fingers toes and heels are. ...and the helmet goes without saying.

Looks good! I think you should always hang onto that 14. You're trim enough to fit any of those bikes but the 14 just fits you best.

Well, it's a whole lot of bike to throw down in a turn but I can carve corners as well on the 14 as on anything I have. It is remarkably agile for something so big and heavy and the power coming off a corner will gap almost any other sport bike, the 14 is a keeper for sure!

The helmet nails it. With that busy of a scheme in the bike, I think a solid black in the leathers would work even better to set you apart yet harmonize at the same time. Just the white logo is all it needs. Of course though, you can't really miss with the black and white. I see you have orange on the boot. What if you had black with just a few strips of red and orange in the leathers? We're splitting hairs here but I plan my outfits that much. Costs a little less money than leathers though. I wonder how many used leathers they have on Ebay?

How about all white leathers with black logo? The helmet stays as is. Gloves and boots too.

Here's the 959, I like this better than the fluor green on this particular machine, just seems to work better.

LOL Rook, I've already spent enough on riding gear to equip a MotoGP grid, just trying to figure out what works best with mix and match using what I already have hanging in my closet. Agreed the solid black leather pants might work better with that last combo. I haven't done my all black leather outfits yet but those basically work with any color. I'll post up what I think are my favorites so far in order, the BMW setup is the best hands down already.

New machine just added this morning, 2016 Ducati Panigale 1299 with just 1581 miles on the odometer.

Nice. Lettuce hear a report against the fleet.

Will do Hubster, hoping to get a first ride in tomorrow morning.

The 1299 is freekin' amazing Hubmeister, easy to ride fast and very user friendly, I almost stopped to make sure I was riding a Ducati. Full report coming but I think this bike edges out the '16 ZX-10R for second and challenges the BMW for top spot, it's really good!
