May/June or September...
That makes complete sense, too bad work is most intense in those months, actually, impossible to get leave time. July and August are my windows, if you boys had to choose, when would you go? I guess it really does not matter!@#$%&

Thanks for the info boys, it's on my to to list.

Hey Wolf,
Are you going to be around today around 3.00ish?
Might go for a short spin....
Could swing by grab Dave, then Stevie, and then head by your place for some quick intros.....
If anyone is down lemme know.

Matt

Hey Matt. Just got back from a quick 2 hours spin. Its still way too chilly out there. 2 hours, no stopping, and a few high speed blasts and the tires are still cold. Hope it starts to warm up soon. Ride safe!

Alright Dave,

Yeah, it's looking chilly out.
Was with the family up until now.. I may go for a short boot and get gas, but not an extended hwy ride I don't think.

Another time.

Hey Gents...
Anyone planning on riding tonight?
I think I will go for a spin after I get my boys to bed.
I went out yesterday for a short boot. Hit 200 on a backroad by my place... smooth and effortlessly.
Bike pulls lovely power wheelies in first. Couldn't get any action out of second on a straight roll on. I need that 4 to 1. When it was colder out I swear I got air in 3rd.
I am thinking of new exhaust as soon as I can afford to pull the trigger on it. I have it narrowed down to 1 of 3.
The Leo Vince, Brocks Street Meg in Black, or Brocks Gen 3 in Titanium 14" Configuration.
I notice the bike is smooth like butter when shifting at WOT, but a little notchy at times when making it shift liesurely... lol. Oh well, alot of torque behind that gearbox.

I vote Leo Vince. Why the switch from the scorpions? Its beautiful out here. Lots of bikes zooming around. Shame I gotta work.

Hey Guys,
Sorry, been really busy with work, looks like I am picking up the 14 next week, which is perfect as my wife is travelling for work, so I can bring the new toy home when she is not there....after all, how many motorcycles does one person need....well I am still trying to figure that one out.
I will most likely be pooched for riding the 14 until may 8th or so. I can always jump on the bandit if I need to before that.

Just want a little more oomph that's all Dave, and I want a little more sound too.
I tried taking the baffles out of the scorpion, but it's a lost cause without destroying them i think - so rather than that, I'm not going to fuk with them.
Besides, Stevie wants em...

Buy Canadian

Darryle only thing you forgot to do was post your Dyno sheet under pic.

The Leo Vince, Brocks Street Meg in Black, or Brocks Gen 3 in Titanium 14" Configuration.

Before you make your choice you should see and hear Darryl's system. Don't tell anyone but Daryls best bud is Mr Hindle. Rumor has it Darryle may have the map, shhhhhh

Being serious that system is Amazing and sound is Wicked. Check it out in person.

I do like that euro tip.
Besides, Hindle makes all Brocks exhausts anyways.
Would that be considered a 14" can?

Next mod will be a flashed ECU,should be good for a couple of peak hp,after that 47 mm throttle bodies for another five or six hp.One step at a time, did to many things to the 07 at one setting and she ended up with a nasty attitude at 3500 rpm.Rick you have mail

Hello Boys,

So Beast man is looking for cans!!! Ha, that's such a personal choice. I put Yosh on all my bikes, every one. Been very very happy. But that's just what I like. I hear amazing things about the Hindle exhaust, I'm impressed. Beast you got to do what you think sounds and looks the best. The hp boost, is not a bad thing either, just don't get drunk on all that power. Can't wait to get our bikes together and just hear the grawls from those lovely pipes. Way cool!

darryle, those hindle cans look amazing on your green back, my boy!

Boys I am bending the knee at 109 degrees, I was struggling with 35. I need to get to 135 before I can ride. I am hopeful I can make that in two weeks. If not, I don't mind meeting up with my cage or hosting a get together at my house. Who's up for that?

LOL, I'm down for something soon too.
Would like to meet you guys.
I went to my brother-in-laws tonight and threw his evotech tail tidy on for him. Turned out looking not too bad. I took the bike - it was a damn fine night for riding. The new dark smoke visor is ok at night with the highs on, but not the greatest with lows.... hmm, may just swap it out for the 30 seconds it takes if I'm doing a night drive.
You can sure tell the weight of the bike takes its toll on the front brakes too. Everytime I get back from a short spin I have alot of brake dust on the front rim. For those that have had their 14 longer than me... do they go through front brakes fast? I know tires are quick, wonder how it eats brakes ?

I'm waiting to hear back from a contact I have who can possibly get me a good price for a hindle/brocks pipe. Should know something by the end of the week. We shall see.
Anyways.. night gents.

Not sure about the front brake beast, but I pretty much have to "stomp" on my rears to get anything...
My sense is the fronts have to do a lot of the work, to bring her to arrest and this may explain the dust.
They probably will get eatn quite quick.

Flying Squirrel had a pair of Angels Pirelli front and read for 300. I was like wow! The suggestion to use the flying rat Stevie was a good one, thanks bros!

Get together...that's one rsvp, others...?

We could aim for the first weekend in May, or first Thursday in May after 8 when kids are to bed.
Thoughts?

I find very little brake dust from the OEM pads. They seem to last the longest too. Do you have the OEM pads in there? As for tires, you can have the best of both worlds. The pirelli angel st's are my tire of choice. Stick very well and last at least 15k. I do about 25k a season. Can't afford to be replacing sport tires every 6k. I'd go broke fast lol.

I'm looking forward to a meet as well. We can do it at marcells or meet somewhere central and Marcell can cage down. Weekends work better for me But may be able to do a week night.
