Not sure about Sat, if I can, I will, but I won't really know until Friday.
So, got it home, came with a set of new contimotion tires and for an extra 200 a set of yosh ss slip ons.
Has 104,000 kms on it, runs like a charm. Has; hid's, led signals, 2 12v outlets, rear rack, side racks, Connie seat, center stand, yosh slip ons, risers, oxford heated grips, electronic cruise, smoked zero gravity screen and frame sliders...and all of the original parts, I may put the original seat/cowling back, depending on what my ass has to say about it...still haven't ridden it....now to insure it and plate it....it also has ss brake lines, not sure if those are standard or not

The yosh slip on's sound pretty good....

Stevie those are great pipes, I had those on a previous bike. Sound and look awesome. Ok dude, never any pressure for SAT. If you want and can, great, but there will be many opportunities to group ride.

Dave905 you down homie?

Beast, I already know you're in baby!

Peace!

Be good if we can leave at 11.30ish....
Does that work for everyone?
We are going down Hwy 7 to start, so do you guys want to meet near the 404 and Major Mackenzie?
There is a Timmy's at Major Mackenzie and Kennedy.
Thoughts?

Cool Dave,
I talked to Wolf and he is good for that time also. He is bringing a friend along for the ride, and I the fellow who's cottage we are going to is a guy I ride with - Jon. He's younger, but a good guy, and a motorcycle enthusiast. Not sure if Stevie is going to join us yet or not?
But, it looks like it is going to be 11.30 am Saturday at the Tim Horton's on Major Mack and Kennedy Road.
See you guys then. I'll be the dude on the Beastly Red ZX14.... lol

Stevie...

Its about a 30 min ride from Haliburton, ON

Here are the two links Jon sent me - On another note it is on a dirt road - so not sure if you guys are willing to drive down a gravel road and risk stone chips - he says we can park at the end of the road, and walk in - not that far. So the bbq, may turn into a lunch at a restaurant along the way... lol - who knows - we will play it by ear. For the bbq to happen he says we have to stop at an iga and grab some burgers/dogs and buns and take it up with us. He will have a backpack with him, but as i said - we may just stop for lunch on the way up. He is going up to open the cottage - turn on the power and water. Then basically chill for abit, and head back.
If Saturday is anything like today it will be an awesome outting.

anyways, here's the links of the two possible drives...
it would be easier I guess if you could make the 11.30 kick off.

1. Longer route (more fun in my opinion... "monck" road is nice and curvy)
http://goo.gl/maps/Xl58Y

2. Little bit shorter...BUT we drive through 2 towns so we can stop for gas / timmies / washroom if needed PLUS there are some cool places we can stop (look out point and white water rapids) we could get some nice group shots! see the photos i attached from my last "group ride"

I suggest taking 507 up and Monck/35 back down. Don't know the condition of 507 since it's the beginning of the season. But this will be a leisurely ride. If he's on a gravel road then there's a nice diner in Gooderham that we can stop for a bite and a drink while Jon goes up, does his thing, and meets us back at the diner. They serve a mean all day breakfast! Seems he's only a few minutes from Gooderham.

I'm not to keen on dirt roads lol

What say you guys.

Hey boys,

Looking forward to getting together - I am there for sure. Big thanks to my boy Beast and Jon for putting this together. Mad appreciation...

As more details trickle in, I must put my thoughts forward.
I am worried about my knee and the long distance. Second I am more worried about my knee and a gravel or dirt road. I am also worried about being tossed up and down on a cracked and pot hole lined highway. I am 5 weeks out of knee surgery, and basic recover is 6 - 8 weeks on a procedure like mine.

So, with this in mind, I am down for a meet and photo, but whether I will make the whole trip is questionable. I am happy to hang in as long as I can, and I will not feel any negativity if you guys keep going and my body tells me to pack it in and turn around. I am not, absolutely not riding gravel or dirt with my body in recovery form - and I am not leaving my bike behind or unattended at the side of the road while we walk in, I have basic liabity insurance, so if she is stolen, that's it for me. I love the idea of grabbing a bite at a restaurant, I would enjoy a cold light beer and some get to know us chat. Burgers, dogs and beer at my place were offerred cooked and free of charge! Maybe next outing we can meet up and whomever hosts can look after food and then pass the torch to the next guy.

See you guys at Tims, looking forward to shaking hands with the Nation.

Mad love boys.
Wman

We're all on the same page (dave and wolf) I like your idea Dave of Jon going in and meeting us back at the diner.
That would work for me.
I guess we'll play it by ear - everyone seems pretty flexible and easy going.
Look forward to the ride - see you guys at timmies at 11.30

Do 507 ,buckhorn rd 3 ,elephant lake rd\pederson rd into Maynooth. With all the rain the dirt /gravel roads might be nasty.Bring eye glass cleaner for your visors. If the blackflies are out it may cause extreme penis enlargement when stopping for a pee.I'm hoping to get my 14R back from mister Hindle sunday morning,if I can pry his hands off the bars

Haven't been to L&L in two seasons! Ever since the hooligans decided to take over the place doing burn outs and wheelies up Lakeshore. Not to mention all the trash they leave laying around the parking lot. There was some trouble with the owner of the price chopper and the parking spaces.

I hope they keep the place clean and civil this year. Keep me posted on how it is.

Dave.

Was an awesome night for a ride Dave. Tons of bikes - awesome turn out. Met a few ZX14 brothers - including Romans. His turbo'd 14 is quite the ride. Everyone I met was super nice and look forward to meeting again in the future. I'd definately like to pick Romans brains a little - he is VERY knowledgeable about the bike.

Darryle - If you have your bike back from Lang then perhaps we can all meet up somewhere and head down together.

Romans, Wolf, Dave, Darryle, Stevie, Me and anyone else who wants to join us.

I'm working on Harry too - take a trip out to Milton and grab him and get him out too.

After checking out the bikes and drinking a beverage we should do the tour down Lakeshore and then head downtown. I did that lastnight and it was great - Nice eye candy walking around and the sound of the exhaust reverberating between the buildings was like magic.

Matt, Marcell, Jon, great meeting you guys and nice riding with you. Marcell, hope the knee isn't doing too bad. When it's 100% I can take you guys for a run up north to Algonquin and back. I'll try and make Thursday's bike night. I need to see how my week goes at work.

Couple of pics from today.
