So that's it. The H2 blows away the 14. No flash will help, no pipe, etc. Hands down this bike has it all over from bottom on up. Why keep the 14, right?
I've looked around a few places and cannot find any wording about someone posting the RG's H2R = H for Has been/R for Rendered useless, 2 rod out the case.

LOL...maybe(RG).
Yeah,I won't be riding my zx anymore.Gotta say...the comfort of this bike is amazing. After yesterday's ride,I realized that the smoothness and lack of buzzing or anything sealed the deal. This is no 14.It just so happened to fit me perfect...IDK why...but it does. They've done something here with the aeros. There was virtually no wind blast at all sitting upright.Even at triple digits.Tucking in...you feel nothing but a oneness with the machine. It responds to inputs like it's reading my mind;)
And I have now NO plans to get this bike flashed. It doesn't need it.I expect the fuel useage to climb some as she gets worked in.I was seeing several times yesterday 40 mpg.Mostly she was averaging around 34.My first ride, she was only gettin like 28,30.The trans is working in very good.Honestly, there's NO clunk going into first from N.
"The H2 blows away the 14"...let's just say,it's a whole different animal..it really wouldn't be quite fair to say it's 'better'.The 14 is totally great for what it is.The best actually. We all know that. This thing is in a whole different category.I will ALWAYS LOVE the 14...

man you got some seriously long straight/ish roads there and fuk all traffic, looks to me though that you are getting a lot of wind ...your jacket is getting a good buffeting, shadow/reflection
looks like fun!

Well...the wind actually is kinda going around me...it's not like pushing against me.If I could 'picture' the bike and rider in my mind,I'd say the image I get is how it's more like punching a hole through the airspace.Sharply.It's being deflected around, not at me.
And yes,it is fun.More fun than I've had in a long time.I'm not having to muscle my bike through the higher speed curves and all.Or be concerned it's gonna break traction and slide.I just don't get that feeling at all.
I was also wearing a lightish cotton hoody...not a regular biking jacket. It looks more than it actually is.

Shitstorm? Not my intention at all. Was just wondering why you went from "I'm not selling it" to "Its for sale and I'm not going to ride it anymore". Like I said is it that good?

14 owners are going to be dropping like flies from this forum. What do you suppose will happen to it?
Is this the end of the 14 for everyone? I think they will have an H2-14r in a couple years. Gen3. I'll still be poking along on my 2008 ZX-14. ...but maybe I can get it to wheelie in 4th gear by then. Eventually I'll have to upgrade.

Green, you got any videos on carving tighter bends?
More like the 25-45km/h types.
It's kinda hard to see anything on all those straightish roads.

Montana. This is from day two...I'll be gettings some tighter road stuff this summer. But these roads in these vids are great for laying into her and powering out...which at this point I didn't do too much of because of break-in and all.

Hey Grn,
I'm a bit confused with your posts. Do you like it or don't ya?................Ha ha ha! Just kidding. It's quite obvious that you're stoked with the bike and it's everything you expected and probably more. ENJOY! my friend, you've got a long hot summer of riding ahead. As I said on another thread, every so often a bike is released that moves the game on and here we are. I guess the only area where the 14 scores over the H2 is it's luggage carrying ability. From what I've seen of the H2 it's going to be difficult strapping anything on there but what the hell...you've still got a 14 in the garage, right? Ride safe and keep those updates coming!

LOL.
Cool Pics!
Honestly guys...it's a a 'bigger' supersport. That's what it is.The 14's a fantastic big sport machine. It's really only limited by it's weight and mass.Other than that...it IS the premiere all rounder bike.We know that.
This one is quite a bit less in weight, and it's mass is different,so naturally,it's gonna handle different and all.
As mentioned,it'll never haul cargo. So that's a negative.I don't ride two up or anything...so for me it's fine as is.I think the acceptance of this bike worldwide is gonna make Kawasaki build another version, something that WILL carry two up...something along those lines.Cheaper as well...naturally.I think this engine design is gonna start showing up from Kawasaki in 'possible' sport-touring models in the next few years. They ditched an intercooler because of the space and weight factor for THIS frame and such. But if that wasn't a factor in a bigger sport bike(like a 14)..they COULD build a motor closer to the 14 and pull it off nicely.I think a lot depends on this bike's reliability and all over time. That's gonna take a bit of riding this model. It'd be great to see a 14 size bike with a motor that could perform like this one does.I think they can definitely do it.And I think they will.....

I wouldn't count on it personally. If they can get that sort of power and speed from 1000cc what's the point? With a 1400 sc machine you could be potentially looking at power approaching 400bhp and what good is that on anything other than wide drag racing slicks? The market will be in smaller, maybe 5-600cc machines with litre power and a sight less weight IMO.
