Carabuser your so right. Had been riding the piss out of my sv650s while I was trying to sell. Such a fun bike in the twisties, but can't touch the power of the zx14r. Will admit though, if the zx14r was sold the next bike was going to be a Ducati Hyperstrada. Glad the zx14r didn't sell.

Great news Woo, maybe this year we can get together and ride, either out my way or out your way. I have a loop of either 130-200 miles, includes breakfaast at Alice's. And I know you have great roads for the 14 out in your area.

Yeah Cara...I was all over SoCal back in the 90's....on my Harley that is.It wasn't too bad then...but now?Sounds pretty darn congested...not so fun.Found some good rides out by North San Diego....in the hills and such...wasn't too bad back then.My Harley really was a very cool bike...rode it like a sportbike actually...it did okay...mostly;)Gotta set up EARLY for those tighter curves though...once in....yer committed...she'll only lean so far....good thing it had those folding footrestsLOL!Ground many o'those off.

I think there are 5 ZXs on sales and 1 for trade on this forum alone. For some reasons, both ZX14 and Busa are hard bikes to sell. I don't know much about Busa but ZX is such a great bike. Riding season just began in California. GLWS Mrwoo!

Big motor = big insurance, low mpg, big tire bills. Also kiddies that want sport bikes want racer replicas. Older people like us, how many really want a sport bike? It also doesn't help IMO the bike's reputation as a drag bike.
