I have a zx14 08 model
At around 2500rpm it breaks down an if I roll on the power it goes ,an it will do this in every gear at same rpm .
Changed spark plugs , air filter, fuel pump an filters , had coil checked at temp for colour change ,had computer an mapping check all clear, an had it dyno tuned an still they didn't work it out ,
Thinking on buying another power commander .
Can anyone tell me if they had this problem and how they fixed it .

Dain, is your bike Turbo charged ???

Hi and no just the standard off the show room floor .
I brought brand new an the only rider so that I know when it's not right .
I have just brought a new power commander ,just waiting until it gets here like two weeks lol.

Yes buddy it's only two an a half months old and the charging system is fine .

If I had a car with point I would say they were pitted an need a new set

Dain, post your question in the zx14 section. I don't think a lot of people look through the turbo section.

Run your power commander ground wire back to the battery if you have not already done it, report back

moto, think... What was the last thing I did to my bike? Lets play the odds. I installed a pc and I'm waiting for another one.

Turn key on and now this is the question. We are now at the pc you have now? Is there a blinking red light or just a green light staying on no blinking?

I have blinking red light:
a. You have something out of range and the pc has found it.
b. Download the pc to the computer and read the box that says 'error' and look in there or click it.
c. You need a green light on only and that says all systems go.

I have a solid green light:
a. My map may not be compatible to the bike.
b. My green light may be on but it may be a bad ground.
c. My having the pc still hooked up as a variable is where I remove the hot side of the pc. Why? If ground is removed, the injector is still hot and that needs a ground so you are still in the loop. Pull +red wire off at the fuse you made, right?

First I want to be all stock so I can blame the unit not all in stock configuration and I still have a problem. I either have to take the unit out of the loop, look, I have no codes, correct?

Romans I will try that I have a new one on its way as well

Yes I have solid green light .
I have had computer tested on a computer and have three pages of read out all clear
