I asked about the flash on a post a few weeks ago..i had my bike out this weekend and tho it was riding great, i kept wondering what the reflash would truly do for my riding experience...so, i really want to send my ecu to you to have it done, but i wanted to know if having 2 ecu's (one regular, and one w/the flash) would be a good idea?!..again, it's just a thought--i take my fiancé out sometimes and don't know if the added power would be too much for her?!...also, once i get it done, is there anything you recommend having me do to my bike to compensate for the added power?

It's all in the wrist bro...Cblasts flash will def add peak power and give you a much snappier, yet easily controlled, throttle resopnse...At the same time it will make the bike run much more smooooooth throughout the entire rpm range...thus resulting in an even more controlled, smooth ride while two up.

I had him do a flash on my 2008 and still have not rode it since I pulled all the piggies off. That was 1 1/2 weeks ago but the bike does start up. The bike is only as fast as you twist the throttle so I would not think you need to change the ECU when you have a passenger.
Just my opinion, Mine dynode at 180 before the flash with a full pipe and some extra electronics so I don't think the flash will up my HP. Might be a whole lot funner on the bottom end

@nasty---good look bro!...much appreciated...i'm looking forward to it...i have the 07 model and never removed flies...i heard/read that the reflash is better for the bike than taking them out...

@lytnin: ....good info bro-thanks!...i think she'll be ok either way...she trusts me, and i wouldn't have her on if i wasn't comfortable with the added power of the flash...other than a 4-2-1 header and roaring toyz short megaphone exhaust, she's stock w/some cosmetic mods....i have a feeling that i'm going to really dig it tho!

You will be good to go Sharp. Just take her out and ride her! Thats always the best way to get familiar. She will be smooth and strong everywhere.
