I grenaded my engine...threw the #3 connecting rod thru the casing. So parting out the bike to recoup some funds. All parts are for sale and no fair offer refused....

Rear Subframe asking 150.00
Clip-ons w/levers, reservior, throttle asking 200.00 (complete just put them on includes brake calipers)

Stock engine covers - clutch, stator etc asking 30 a piece

question how many miles and how was she treated befor the untimely end I am more asking this as our bikes are getting older this info will help others on the site that have been looking for anwsers So that maybe we can get some understanding as to what may be the cause ... The bike wasnt abused which is whats crazy. think i just got a monday built bike. I just rode the bike since it was comfortable and pleanty of room with a passenger. I kept the bike well maintained. I saved the madness for the track. I use to race WERA and still do track days to get my fix...lol

I was cruising on on the highway about 80mph around 8000rpm. then all of a sudden i hear what sounded like a bunch of metal rattling in a can. pull over and see a whole in the front casing. Get bike home and tear it down to see the #3 connecting rod shot thru the casing....YUCK! oil everywhere

You still got the black bodywork?
