Dunno where you are Ed but NLR is in western Alabama(IIRC). Seb has a great reputation for go fast stuff.
Plan to spend some time in Leeds Al. at the Barber Motorsports Museum.
It's at Barber Motorsport Park, one of the nicest road race facilities I have ever been to.
Best of luck with the move.

Seb (Sebastian Domingo) has been at the forefront of TurboBike technology for years.

The expression "He's forgotten more than most people know" comes to mind.

The Suzuki Bandit in my sig line was dynoed at his shop, prior to me getting my hands on it.

Check out his site: https://www.nlrsystems.com/homepage.

Some info on Barber: https://www.barberracingevents.com/higpa-home.php

How have you been?

I work for Continental Motors at Brookley Field near downtown Mobile but live in Dallas and fly there often on business as Rook said.

In fact, I'll be arriving on Monday and staying all week.

I have never ridden there and don't know the good roads for motorcycling but have seen some nice ones on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay around Fairhope that might be worth exploring.

Where are you going to be living? From what I've seen, the Eastern Shore is the place to live but a bit pricey.

Capt10ed, I did a little research and the favorite motorcycle road in the Mobile area is a rural scenic route with some big sweepers, no Tail of the Dragon for sure but it's close by. Starts in Spanish Fort and runs north on State Route 225 to Stockton, then returns on US 31 back to Spanish Fort, just under 50 miles.

If you go North to Huntsville/Birmingham area and even further up north towards Tennessee, there are a ton of excellent twisty roads but this would be more of a weekend ride.

Thanks for the information. I'll try to check them out in a couple of weeks. Next week is my anniversary. nothing else needs to be said about that. I've spoken to a couple of rider without getting any real road that are worthwhile,You also gave me information about Seb which is great because I have a turbo bike that needs some dyno time by some one that knows what there doing.

Alabama is also home to arguably the best track in the US for motorcycles.

It looks cool but right i have no time for a track day.
I'm doing the land speed think for now.
224mph up in Loring, Maine this year and hoping for more next year.
Since I moved Maine is out of the question so looking into the Texas mile.
I still enjoy those early morning rides on the weekend. But would rather combine the straight with some turns...

Holy crap--Awesome! Mind if I ask what kind of setup you are running with? Obviously not just stock.

So i'm optimistic for next year

No

The motor was Built by Jim at Competition CNC
Wossner pistons
Carrillo rods
HD studs
stainless exhaust valves
HD springs with titanium retainers
billet oil pump cover
Stage 2 head porting and cams
So Yes
Pretty much STOCK!!!

HOLY MOLEY ... 224 and she wouldn't exceed 9800 RPM? ... and you're "still learning just starting to turn up the boost"?!

Wow, Captain, 16 lbs of boost on gen.2 must be wicked and I only got to 9 lbs on my bravest run. You must spray meth or run race fuel or run e85. Do you know your compression after piston change and how does it affect rideability?

When I ran 16lbs of boost I used C16. She's good up to 12 lbs on street fuel with a 50/50 mix of meth and distilled water. Richard at RCC can tune his to 14lbs on street fuel.
I am turning up the boost slowly because I want to continue doing the land speed thing. So going up slowly incrementally turning up the boost. Helps me and my sons get used to the speed. This year dad was top at 224.6 Alan was 220 and Derek was 217. The fastest Derek had gone was 140 on the street on my stock 14. So for him it was a BIG step.
I keep it at 9lbs for the street. the compression with the Wossner turbo pistons is 9:1 which is a little higher then the other pistons available.
The street manners are excellent.
Going to the turbo pistons from the stock compression ratio it seem just a touch softer and i do mean just a smidge softer.
I am getting used to spinning the tire at speeds over 130mph...

Thanks Captain, that lockup clutch is necessary for your brute. Mine seems to slip if accelerating hard from 3 or 4th gears. Also, get the sensation the bike is twisting from the torque, IDK. I have been using windshield washer fluid for a few years as my methanol. It is something like 22% methanol which is less than 40% recommended, but I dont push it hard these days.

Have no luck with boost sensor - it has failed 3 times and it is not the display, but the sensor itself. What do you have?

Cant quite understand the concept of lowering compression for turbo applications. Lower compression robs power, but allows for more boost. So if standard compression was used with less boost, wouldn't you get the same power? This may be a dumb question.

My bike does have a MTC lock up clutch all seems fine so far that's at 336hp
Also at that 224mph speed it track straight more effected by cross winds.....lol
I just installed a Bosch map sensor just 2 weeks ago i'll see what happens.
I did notice My boost gauge was reading higher after a couple of data runs.
Something i have to look into.
regarding boost I hear what your saying but at higher boost lower compression is needed to keep detonation at bay.
so at 6lbs and stock compression 240hp it was an awesome street bike
I'm just hoping to go a weeeee bit faster before i get to old to do this

Yes Jetfixr is correct
it was R Romans old bike and Was a Great base turbo to start.
It was a well done street Turbo
But I've been taken it to the next level
attempting to educate myself along the way
I did have to contact Rick when I had an issue. and he did give me some help, thanks again Rick
I do believe it was Rick who said
"Boost is addictive"
YEP he was right!!

Do you have video of some of your top speed runs? Where I get the most fun from a turbo are roll ons from 40.
