So I just did a trackday at Miller Motorsports Park on my 14. It's much to big for this track.

I'm looking for some advice on which smaller sportbike (a 600 or a literbike, probably) would be best for a tall person (6' 3")?

One of my boys has a CBR600RR, which I wasn't all that interested in until now. I'll try that out and see how she feels.

This is a tough one and if/when you find one that fits, I wish you'd post your findings/review. I'm looking for the same thing and I'm just under 6'3". On my last Demo Day with Yamaha last year, I tried out an R6 and felt like a gorilla on a tricycle. I don't know that there's a bike in the 600 class that would fit me at all at this point which is why I've been looking at literbikes. But, there again, they're almost the same size as 600's for the most part. I test rode a Ducati 999 Biposto and it was the same feeling. Super tiny narrow bike. Got a good view of my shoulders in those little shiny things they call mirrors.

Interesting thing I found in a little "Event Schedule" brochure for Miller Motorsports Park...

They talk about the Yamaha Champions Riding School, and say:

"Ride an all-new Yamaha R6 or R6S (or FZ1 if you're really tall)."

So I guess they're saying the FZ1 might be good to look into. -bg

A buddy that goes to the track with me rides an FZ1, it does pretty good.

Something you might want to look at is an 01'ZX6 or an 05' thru 08' ZZR600. They are really roomy compared to the new 600 SS's and the 05' thru 08' ZZR is the same as the 01' ZX6 just rebadged. My last track bike was an 01' ZX6 and was really comfortable even with rearsets and lowered clip-ons.
