Just read that I could possibly cut 9lbs of weight by going to a Shorai lithium battery. Anyone know if this is true?

Yes, they save a shit ton of weight. Performed well on other bikes but I haven't gone to a new battery on Priscilla yet. Super light.

Yeah, and mine worked fine with the 14a one.... no need for the recommended one imo.
But, up to you.
Comes with foam padding to build it up in size to fit in the standard battery box.
My battery ended up going in my bimmer, and then out the door when I got an unexpected offer and didn't have my stock battery to put back in that night.... now I have to grab another one for the new bike.
