Buddy of mine picked up a 2007 ZX14 with 2600 miles for $5500 2 months ago.Well when he got it home he started taking all the stickers off and it was scratched every where there was a sticker.So he decided it was time to paint.We used stock Kawi colors,Bright Blue and Spark black,


I candied all the turnsignals and taillight.He got a full Muzzy exhaust off Ebay for 400,the Connie seat for 90,sold him my SW Motech rack and also painted the windsreen with a fade from blue to black.Also the guy he got it from lowered the bike but only the rear links??????It's back to stock hieght now.Also Genmar risers and heated grips going on.
Wheels will be next after he gets a new set of Road 3's.

IMHO I don’t like it no offence!Maybe it’s the painted muzzy I don’t like!

Like the front fender and the grills. Othetr than that, I would say go blue on the whole thing. Black is the hardest color to paint. The slightest flaw will show in the paint. Very nice job for salvaging an old paint job though. You could try all kinds of crazy stuff if you want.

Second. I have always been told not to mix blue with black. I have only seen cops pull it successfully. The exhaust and the seat are not a true black and that messes up the whole scheme IMHO. You're so good at painting... I wish your buddy went with something similar to what you have. That or the 14 R blue but I'm not sure if the 14 can pull it up...

Still working on the RS125.To each there own on paint.It actually looks pretty sinister in the flesh.Plus when he gets the seat redone in black I think it'll flow a little better.His is about my 8 or 9 motorcycle paint job right now in the last 4 months.Did my 08 Ninja 250,03 SV1000 that I bought from a friend as a total(easy fix,cosmetic)my 2011 Connie,2006 636 I painted GM grenade green with flat clear,1964 HD sportster,1940 HD I', working on for an older guy that his father bought brand new in 39,and 4 other HD repaints.I have one more 08 Ninja 250 to paint purple for a girl that wants it that
