Got my ABBA stand yesterday. I am impressed with the simplicity and function of the overall design, but.
The design of the cups to fit over the swingarm axel are poor, theses should have been pins which would fit in to the hollow on both sides. The supplied cups don't provide much gripping area and if a person got in a hurry and didn't get everything tight the bike is going to come loose, on the right side the cup is only getting about 1/8 inch purchase at the most. Pins would have been not only a safer design but a stronger one as well and actually easier to manufacture.
The design of the arms to lift the fron wheel is again simple, in reality the ZX is heavy and I couldn't get the front wheel up by just pulling on the strap. I have the cowling on the rear part of my seat so I couldn't push there, had to remove the seat to to have a sturdy place to apply pressure while pulling on the strap.
Would I buy one again, probably not. I already have a Pit Bull forward arm stand for the rear, would have been much cheaper to buy a front wheel stand. The one advantage the ABBA has over using regular stands is that the suspension is unloaded front and rear.
Will probably send an email to ABBA sometime soon and express my concerns
