Are we talking 1st generation or 14R. I'm asking because I thought you said you were buying a new one.
The Brock CT-duals make the most hp
Then you have the CT-single and then the rest, the difference in HP between the single and the dual is not worth it but for those who love the dual look, it makes sense.
Best way to get a good answer is to e-mail Brock. I sent an e-mail at 12:00 am and they replied the same morning at 7. Customer service is second to none.

Anyone on here running an alien head system?

I had one on my '06, conneaut14.

Super light weight (little less that 10lbs, IIRC), and looks great, IMO.

On the loud side, but I live in the country where that was not a big deal. If you live somewhere that enforces noise ordinances, you might wanna get something else... like the Gen 3 system or a Muzzy.

Another thing, you notice how my passenger pegs are gone in that pic?... One ride with the AH on there, and my woman said never again... Noise and exhaust fumes were too much for her to handle.

He has a 20" can available now maybe that would be a little more tolerable for a passenger

Notice the seat cowl is off and the pegs are not only on... they are out too.

I suppose I could always learn to like the CT if need be

Didn't take me long... Love my CT.

It sounds "deep" and "mean" w/o being loud... and dumps far enough back to not bug the 'ol lady.

Brock's Performance is in Dayton, Conneaut... How far is that from you?... Maybe see if you can swing by his shop and check things out in person.

Oh... yeah, that's a long drive... but a short ride.

Can't go wrong with the Akra either. You give up the map support, but the quality is equal.

You want Carbon... Check THIS THREAD out.
Romans already sold the system, but I think you'll appreciate the pics and info.

Not getting CTs if you can afford them is stupid.

1) They aren't very loud especially compared to Alien Head.

2) They make a lot more HP than the others.

3) Whats not to love?

4) You keep your centerstand (if you have one), your passenger pegs, and it bolts up using stock mounts.

I don't know the more I look at pics of the CT the less I like it I'm just not impressed by the looks. I like the looks of my 2 brothers slip ons but we all know the 2 brothers exhaust systems don't make the best numbers.

Then you prob want to go with akrap and get a custom tune.

I was also told the Alien and StreetMeg were the best power adders ( other than the sidewinder )??
Isn't 90 percent of the HP from the header anyway? Guess I was misled as well......?
On another note, I love the sound of my StreetMeg but like the look of the 20" Alien but can't justify the money for it.....would I gain power by swapping my StreetMeg canister with a CT canister and a good retune then??

He's the man to ask for sure -- I dig the Alien too but no matter which Brocks system you go with, you'll FEEL the difference from what you're running right now

Oh I have no doubt about that I only pulled 173/103 on dyno but I that was different map and it was a mobile dyno at a bike night so not sure how accurate.

Some stuff I fond on Brock's site

the short meg is the same as the alien head it's round instead of the alien head shape. They both have the same HP, the short meg has a removable baffle and the alien head does not.

The Alien Head and Short Meg are our loudest systems...The STREET MEG is not as loud but has a much deeper tone.
