Do anyone know where to get an K&N, or BMC air filter for the 2012 ZX 14R if so please let me know.

I just turned over 11,000 miles on my 2012 and I have been waiting for an after market filter for months. I don't know what takes these guys so long to develop a new filter. They have to have known they were going to do this for some time. What takes so long?

I spoke to a rep from Brock today and was told that any aftermarket filter you put on the new 14 will make it lose power. If you look in the owners manual on page 133 it says, use only the recommended air cleaner element Kawasaki part number 11013-0718. Using any other air cleaner element will wear the engine prematurely or lower the engine performance.

06 after doing more research and crossing some part numbers, I talked to a customer service rep at leo vince and found out that the filter only fit the 06 to 2011 models. There still isn't a filter for the 2012 model. That is a mistake so please don't order that filter unless you want to send it back.
