figured I'd share this stand/lift I devised for taking the front end apart on my 14.
All it does is lifts the front wheel as long as the rear is strapped down using the bracket that is usually used for the center stand or the fairing infront of the rear wheel. I took a scissors jack from a car, welded it to a large plate of steel, then fabbed a bracket to fit the mounting ears on the bike which was also welded to the jack. A couple grade 8 1/4" bolts slide through the holes and screw back into the threaded bracket. I would never use this jack for anything but static work. Getting on the bike or moving it around any more than necessary is not advised. It's just a temporary alternative to get the weight off the front wheel so tires can be changed or forks can be serviced. I would think the mount would be plenty robust since this is actually what it's meant for, however the flatness of the jack and it's tendency to want to tip over regardless of the steel plate it's mounted to does not make me 100% confident in it's strength in design for storage or any thing more than what I've listed as uses.
