Wow, who or whatever fit those together and welded them does nice work, they look great. Why wait until spring to install?...must be some weird exercise in self control.

Wait... what's that - I'd be throwing that thing on first available chance. Hell, I'd be heating my garage with a hair dryer if that's what it took.

Lol thanks guys the system is awesome!! Perfect welds and fitment!

I have patience that's all.. I work full time then come home and do my powder coating jobs while watching my daughter 7 months old.. So I really just don't have time and it's cold in my pole barn and I can't put it were I coat parts in fear of contamination...

I can not deny that is some quality welding compared to my Muzzy i just got for my Busa, side by side the Muzzy looks like crap compared to that and honestly i could have done smoother welds myself on the Muzzy but thats why the Brooks cost so much. but I love my muzzy sound and still not a bad pipe for the money, after all no ones gonna be looking at my welds.

Yes/no beast.. Lol
I had a lil $$ saved up so I could do what I wanted and be done...
The chain guard will be powder coated to match the metallic black gills and belly fairings.. As well as the heel guards shifter/ brake pedal...
And speaking of the chain guard may go test fit it before I alter it...if I do I will post pics!
I have 2 more items to get a set of Q2's in 55 rear profile and steering damper...

Sweet, same tires I'm running on the new Carra's. That dang stock chain guard is so cheap looking... and flimsy.
I'm very interested to see how it turns out.... it's something I'm definately interested in.
Can't wait to see your finished product.

How u like the Q2 on the 14?
They we're awesome on my 10r and the profile was 55 stock.
I feel I need that taller tire back..!
I thought the same thing once I seem the chain guard lol otherwise I wouldn't have bought one..

The hyperpro will take a couple weeks (motomummy says) as the zx-14 has been selling out fast lately.. They have dampers but not the brackets..

Anyhow beast here's the chain guard (from tiger racing) plain version stock length..
Excuse the mud :(
Fit is perfect two bolts and it's on very sturdy and looks much better will look even better on you guys with single muffler!! Once I add some color I will update this thread or start another with all my goodies as they go on! (stock guard has a clip on the inside that has to be pushed out before it will come off)

Yikes... stress building...... seeing the bike like that...... UGHHHHHHHHH
ok, ... I'm ok now....
Very nice find - I am doing it... once you get it painted / powdercoated black it will look awesome.
I will be following...
The Q2's just went on the bike with the new Rims on Saturday.... as you can see in my pics... lotsa snow.... no seat time unfortunately. Can't comment until May probably lol.
And even then won't be relevant if I'm rocking my 260 ponies like I want.

Anybody know how the duals compare to the single in performance? I have heard they make more top end but what does the mid-range look like. Looking on ivans page the akra 4-2-1 makes about 10 more HP on midrange vs the Alienhead so I was just wondering if there was a comparo floating around somewhere. I'm sure Brocks can fill me in if the info doesnt already exist.

I have the Brock's ct duals and I am not sure where is the power band they claim the increase is, but I recall reading it was only about a 3 hp gain over single

Mana64 is right it's 3-5 from what I recall..
I made the mistake switching my zx10 duals to a single and the power drop was noticeable to me!! So I didn't want the same with the 14.. Also it helps keep the bike balanced believe it or not ...
