Howdy!Hope yer all doing well..getting in some really quality rides.

Decisions decisions.I've gone back now to my stock windscreen. Was using the MRA spoiler screen.Good quality and excellent fitment. The differences are for me very subtle.I do think the stock screen was designed very well at moving the airflow around and into the rider at speed. It seems quieter to me for one thing.Secondly, the feeling of buffeting is quite a bit less with the stock screen. The aero's I think are designed for higher speed operation, and I'd say the faster one goes, the more smooth the airflow becomes and contributes to the overall stability of the bike.Cornering at speed is planted moreso with the stocker I'm feeling.I'll be keeping the screen on for now....it really is very nice IMO.

I seem to be following your lead, blue... I tried the Angel tires, and I'm thinking of going back to the stock screen as well. Great minds, I guess... -bg

I did however go back to 16/42 just for a while. This has been a strange riding season so far. Most of my off days....it's rained.Or I had things to do.Been riding at night some after work...but it's really not the safest thing to do.I guess it is what it is...gotta take it as it comes along. But she's running great....almost 37,000 miles now...and virtually no problems that I didn't create myself. My baby has run excellently.I never have to be concerned about breakdowns or anything like that at all.Really glad I bought this bike. It's so far been a blast to get out on and feel free.Lots of open spaces here and big curves to open er up on with almost zero traffic.Very cool place to own a 14!I'm pretty fortunate so far this year...no tickets.Course,I've toned down my style some as well.

And BTW BG...how you likin those Angels?I REALLY liked em.but didn't get the mileage out of em I was kinda expecting.Went back to a Strada Rear...have that Pilot Power 2CT on the front still. So far, that pilot front has been very impressive. The Pilot Rear was shot in a pretty short time...way too soon for my likes.I've had the best experience runnin Stradas on any of my spaceships(zzr1200,zx12r).Angels are sweet though."may" go back again to em in a while. Not quite sure HOW they came up with "judged BEST for distance"(something like that). They ran great....very secure feeling, but I can't say they outlasted my Strada...no way.

I like the Angels. Thinking about trying Michelin Power Pure's next. I think that's what the 2CT's have evolved into. There's a Michelin guy at Miller track days who mounts tires for free that you buy from him. Need to check his prices, though... -bg

Blue, the stock screen might work well, but the MRA Sport Touring looks SWEET! I still like her. Time will tell. Still healing from Triumph crash.

Man...get well Sliddr.I do like the looks of the MRA...no doubt. But for now...it's my stocker. There is a noticeable difference in smoothness and noise volume using it.Course,I've got my seat lowered, and genmars on there,so that DOES change the ergos a bit.And where the wind hits me(or doesn't).

After looking at your other posts, you "Hypothetically" drive a little faster than I do. HAHAHAHA

You know...I REALLY TRY to keep er at 70,80.I'm pretty good about it.Actually,I'm very careful when running "above" the limit.I don't speed and such when there's any traffic.I stay right with the flow.Sometimes...well...that would be a car or truck cruising at 90 or so.It happens here with regularity. These roads mostly were designed for higher speeds....this was not many years back a "no daytime speed limit" state. So really doing 90 or 100 is not that dangerous or anything...EXCEPT...apparently for,and I hate to say it,the Harley riders. They're the ones getting killed here whenever there's a motorcycle fatality.Losing it while passing.IDK HOW you do that.Or taking a curve and drifting off the shoulder...ya...I COULD see that.I've had a couple of lower speed experiences with that one. This year I've really begun to pay real close attention to my cornering lines, and stayin where I need to be to be safe. I try to be VERY aware of what's coming up and what's coming the other way or behind me.These roads here are a 14 rider's dream...I'll say that.Mostly wide, open, and banked and not too many really sharp curves. At least where I ride.Plenty of room for two vehicles to pass headon with no real drama...as long as the cages STAY in their lane, and lay off the sauce(which DOES get people killed here several times a year).I'm not gonna try and justify my speeding. It's wrong...straight out.Illegal.This last year so far I've been toning my riding down. But there is ONE spot that's just almost a place of addiction...I always say.."okay,if I go home that way,THIS TIME I won't give er her head".As soon as I begin to come out of the long nice sweeper...there's that sweet, newly paved asphalt 2 mile run in front of me...with NO cars on it.I find myself tucking in and openin er up AGAIN.I'm not well...I'm really not.

You know as well as I do...having a bike that can outpull anything on the road...well,geez....she was MADE to fly!"I'm ONLY blowing the carbon out.Really Officer...that's ALL I was doing".Which is not a TOTAL fabrication .

Fortunately I haven't YET been clocked on "my favorite spot"....yet.So yeah, even that place is not getting the runs it used to anymore.Twice this year. And I've got no plans to do anymore runs there for the rest of the season...hell,maybe never. She's just so darn SMOOTH when she's breathin fire!Compared to last year....hmmmmm..can you say "IDIOT".
