Voodoo Exhaust

Does anyone have experience with the Voodoo exhaust open vs the speakeasy inserts in reference to performance gains/losses?

I have an 08 ZX14, which had Voodoo exhaust on it without the speakeasy inserts when I purchased it and to my knowledge no re-mapping has been done. I am also running the stock air filter. I can't decide if there is a loss in torque with the speakeasy's installed or if it is just because I'm not getting the audio feedback that I was. I feel like I've neutered the beast and think I'm going to pull the silencers back out.

Just out of curiosity how much of a difference in the sound is there with the speakeasy's in?

I would say that it's 30% quieter. However, I also think there is too much back pressure, causing a loss in performance. I put them in, mainly for those who ride with me, but I'm taking them back out.

My conclusion is that if you want something quieter, don't go with Voodoo.
