I have 2008 ZX14 and my friend has 09 Busa. I'm not a street racer but we play around a little just for talks. I have 17 front and 43 rear with two bro juice box pro and full exhaust. Dyno at 178 rear wheel and 104.6 toque but he still pull away in 2nd gear. His Busa has a auto tune and yos full with 16 front and 43 rear. Now when we do a 6th gear roll on we are neck to neck? Can someone tell me what I can do to get that jump on him without killing me complete on top end? Other mods stretch 8in, K&N filter, racing rims and speedo healer.

Go to a 16 front.Thats what I have and it jumps everywhere.And not to lose top end I put a 190/55//17 rear tire.Should still hit 182 at 10500.Or at least 175.

what happens in a fifth gear roll on? and when you say roll on, from what rpm? Are your flies in?

We haven't did a 5th roll on but in 3rd I jump out 3 links and he caught me by time we 6th gear. In 6th gear roll I jump half link and just stayed there till we both got out of it. Thats with the 17/43. Now in 2nd he run off and leave me like i was on a 600. and yes my flies still in.

Almost same. 17/45 will give you 3 to 4 mph more to red line, roughly. My Fav Gear ratio

Get a TRE. Your timing is retarded in the first three gears. The TRE will unleash the power you get in the upper gears.
