I have a 2007 14r, and was wondeering what performance upgrades you guys would suggest. I already have a brocks pipe, and was thinking of a pc, or a brock ecu flash. Does the flash work better than the pc

Remove flies (Definitely on 06-07)

PAIR block off plates

lightweight wheels

shorter gearing

Lightweight battery

remove belly pan and frame, seat lock cover, horn, tail frame rails (don't carry passengers after that), passenger peg brackets, reflectors, all heat shields, foam and rubber mats, tool kit and box, replace mirrors with bar end mirror, fender eliminator with two L brackets from a hardware store, replace brake lines with kevlar....that's good for at least 80-85 lbs.

I will soon. Have pics of everything on the scale. The wheels are getting finished off. Still need to remove the tail frame rails. That will be a couple more pounds. I will post in General as soon as it is done. What Things Weigh will be the name of the thread.

oh you know, Hub. We ALL called our bike a 14r back in the day to distinguish from the Connie. Those days are gone now, alas. The rest of us are stuck with plain old 14s.
