So far have reduced weight by a minimum of 45 lbs,Have ballistic battery on order. The vortex rear sets weigh the same as stock, but a dremmel will fix that.Moto they are ceramic bearings

Way to go on the weight reduction. Those BST's scare me now that I've been reading more and more about them. Good luck with them and I sure hope you don't have any incidents with them. Bike looks great with them on it though and I'm sure you've noticed quite a performance gain from just the weight reduction.

Went for a ride this weekend, over 1500 km,probably 300 on roads suitable for a KLR, washboard sand in the corners, some of the bumps were so bad,I called them a french canadian vasectomy. My BST's are fine. These rims were on my 07 and now have over 10,000 kilometres with no problems.Any one thinking of riding from Temiscaming along the Mattawa river do not do it unless your on a ATV or KLR,pavement for 50 km ,gravel then a cow trail, had to turn around.I think the french canadians get snow mobile trails and highways confused.DO NOT STOP TO PEE,F---'n mosquitoes

The BST wheels are awesome! I've had a set for three seasons now and love them..... I pound the crap out of them with wheelies and dirt roads and never had an issue.

Darryl the bike looks sick! Thats just what my next girl will look like.... Going to buy a new one in about a year when I have 50,000 on my 2009.

Darryle... I'm curious about your custom exhaust from Hindle. Do you have a dyno sheet and what are your impressions performance wise?
