to turbo or not
01/31/12 5:19 PM

Alright guys I've been seeing at a lot of turbo bikes so tell me the good the bad and the ugly. Are they practical for everyday riding and commuting? Are they reliable enough to jump on and ride across the country? How is the fuel economy? How is the traction? Are you even able to ride one in the rain?

Hey Romans is your bike lowered? If so both front and rear or just rear? How many inches?

Hey Romans is your bike lowered?

No, all is in place to lower but stock rear shock just collapses on hard launch. New shock should be here this week.

$400 is a real nice price

Do you know the spring rate?

Right now I'm running busa spring which works great for the street but I think it's a tad too stiff for the strip.

All good thus far. Have not been able to street test but it's 3 times the shock I took off from what I can tell thus far. Lighter as well. Def what I needed. The from jumping on it bike now will compress and rebound at the same time. Not possible before.

No sure what you mean, 8500 km last season. Zero this year. SB6 is now installed waiting for shifter.

Briefly, Sweeeeeet thus far. Not going to beat it for the price. Hard = launch No. Playing with SB6 and Auto shift. Having air line issues so I will know more later.
