Yes, I got a fantastic deal on the bike and the trade. I could not pass it up. :)
Here is the post I've written on another site:
I only have one long ride on the H2 SX. It feels more comfortable than my ZX14R with higher bars and lower foot pegs. Love the cruise control. The seat seems rock hard and forces me to slide forward, not sure what Kawasaki was thinking. It is bad enough for me to do something about it right away. That is my main complaint so far.
Actually, another disappointment was: saddlebags were not included in the package (not included on the SE either). I had to spend another grand to get them. Should have them next week.
Unexpectedly the bike feels smaller and lighter than either my busa or ZX14R, it carries its weight better. Both power and handling are closer to ZX10 than to a Concourse. It does not have the monster torque of the 14, and at higher speeds it feels a little slower from the power perspective. Keep in mind my ZX14R was heavily modified – full 70 pounds lighter than stock, with tuning, full exhaust, and BST wheels. With light tuning people are getting 220 rear wheel horsepower from the SE.
Overall package is a lot less buzzy, more nimble, better balanced, and more refined. My expectation was that as I age this purchase would be one step closer to a couch bike. I was pleasantly surprised.
