Here is what I had made: I made the pattern myself and had it sewn together locally for $70.65 total cost. The body is vinyl top material with a soft backing and the edge welt is made of soft trunk liner. There's a brass eyelet on each side and I added a plastic washer to keep the bolt from pulling the eyelet into contact with the body work.

It's made a little loose as vinyl will shrink slightly over time and exposure to the elements. The guy who did this has done work for Jay Leno and has had cars he's upholstered displayed at the Pebble Beach Concours. If you would like to have one made, contact Bruce Robert at www.hytechautotrim.com If you need something larger or different, you can send him a pattern and he can work with that.

That is some nice work. What about the seat?

Seat is an older model Tobin. Hytech can also perform seat recovering, reshaping, adding gel pads etc.

That's a great idea, Dannno. I just got a magKnight bra to replace my Lockhart Phillips. The vinyl and felt bra is a lot lighter.

To tell you the truth though, i doubt if that vinyl is gonna shrink much. Mine fit snug from day one and I never had a problem with it getting too tight from shrinkage. The busa also has a vynil bra nd it has wrinkles in it from day one. 2 seasons and 3000 miles.
