I think we modify because we can. If we all had what we needed and not what we wanted most of us would be riding scooters and driving yugo's.

I agree 100%. Everyone's machine becomes a tool of individual expression and an object of differentiation.

But don't use soft bags with shorty pipes. My riding partner melted his wife's custom-tailored bikini like that.

Ok I'm distracted they make custom tailored bikinis? Anyway the kriega I was looking at would be a 30l tailbag with a 10 or 20l bag attached on top. Nothing hangs over the sides. But it does kill the 2 up idea. We've done some trips on the 650r with her wearing a backpack, but it really wears her out toting enough for both of us on an extended trip.

I want to do the same mod on my 2013, I just receive a complete R55 system from Yoshimura and a PCV (They look short and ...I think they would fite with the V35 luggage). Also a good point is that exhaust is not looking sa as aftermarket, it as even a ZX14 discret tag on it. So it would not attract the eye of the police! I will see in the next phase of my mod if this exhaust fit with V35!
Did somebody know if it's only because of the exhaust that they not list the 2013 model on SW MoTech site for the V35 luggage?

Nice little bonus for me guys is living in the Philippines, I can do pretty much what ever i'd like to the bike and have it still be street legal. 99.99% of the country has no traffic enforcement at all anyway. Even your smog check is a bribe away. Admittedly not the best system in the long run, but it works out for modding your bike.
