I am thinking it was a short window of opportunity for that ride. Much more snow melt and the last 5 miles of that ride would be very dangerous from the gravel saved up in the winter plowing. It was slow and steady as is though and what cool feeling riding with a 6 foot wall of snow on both sides of the road, felt like a tunnel.

The back portion of the bike including the chain was so gunked up with grime, I cleaned it immediately when I got home. I absolutely hate my chain being dirty lol

Bout time for a new tire there...ya think?Dirty?Well...that's not TOO bad....course,you probably know about using high pressure car wash wands on the seals and bearings....ride safe....maybe get a ride together sometime....I hit that 200 to Thompson Falls run several times a season....haven't hit Lolo yet...on second look...yer tire looks okay.No Hugger?Really helps keep the wishbone and stuff clean.

I was gonna say I hope the tire has a couple thousand miles left, it's a PP3 with less then a thousand on it. And yes I want a hugger bad, the guy i got the bike from must of taken it off. I have been going thru and installing all sorts of things that have been missing....fairing bolts, exhaust springs and little stuff like that. I don't think he was as picky as i am about the bike.
