K what is the best way out?
1) steering damper
2) accelerate - get on throttle
3)?

depends on if im leaned in which has happened but usually throttle it up if you got room then settle her back in, but steering damper works great when you don't have throttle room, just my 2cents

As soon as it's induced, you:

1. Stand on the pegs
2. Lighten up on the bars.
3. Lift off throttle.

steering damper is the way to go, better to prevent a problem then to have to deal with a problem. Didn't anybody have the "condom vs. abortion" talk with you ?...same idea.

Everything I have read has said to throttle down.

You're talking high speed wobble, not tankslapper, yes?Throttle down....gently.I don't know if I'd change the CG by raising from the seat...but if it works...okay.

It's not so much of changing the CG. It's about your weight moving like a wave every time the bike swaps. So the idea is to stand so your shake is no longer part of the wave inducing wobble. This cuts it down. Ask me how I know?

Because this is a 14 site. Off topic is more for the dirty, do not watch at work, anything goes. Think about it. I've never seen a poet's corner on a bike site. Besides, there are wads forming that do not want to see a poem, let alone some other bike to talk about.

I could be wrong, but who cares? You keep popping up the thread in off topic, it's as good as its own topic. Imagine the pages. You wake up, type one up, no one is going to cry, meaning, they can't. It's off topic, you know what it that thread is so, move on.

You start some poem thread in off topic, I'm going to rank it, stank it up baby! Oooze the gooze out of every orifice... Just watch.

Slow down.Safest way to get back to stability.Break the resonation cycle. That's what's doing it.

All hub said! I get a speed wobble induced by slip I IMMEDIATELY PUT ALL WEIGHT ON THE BALLS OF FEET IN THE MOST NEUTRAL LOOSEY GOOSEY WAY POSSIBLE, to the point of lifting one foot off if the wobble is bad on the outside leg to try get that center of gravity low and inside and stop the polar moment of inertia from making you swap ends. Loose and OFF throttle. Loose and all paying attention to what where weight.

Yup yup yup! WOLF YOU JUST HIT ON SOMETHING! The power increase and the load transitioning is causing polar moment of inertia shift, you need 1/2 of a turn increase in rear preload. Padow. Power is causin rear loading if chassis. Other bikes DO NOT EXPERIENCE THIS PHENOMENON LIKE THE R!!!!!! Torque is causing chassis load. Add some little rear preload and lets see the chassis stabilize in ur off corner drive. That's where you are gettin WAGGLE, not WOBBLE. The two are diff.

My experience with a 14's head shake was on sustained, straight up and down, maybe 80 or so mph or less? Overpass bridges have these expansion joints so it is more the freeway is flat, come the overpass you are going to ride over, you hit the expansion joint; front wheel compresses up the forks; pushes the frame up in the air; the bike is now airborne; bike comes down on the other side of the expansion joint; the bars leave the hands from the snap of the first wob; the tire touches again; there is an equal swap to the other side; times the other side; times the 'for every action' we entered wobblesville.

No power was being loaded. A spring change would not have mattered how this particular wobble began. It was airborne by the slam of the height of both bridge, the level of freeway meeting that bridge, how smooth, what temp, or what month, meaning, who expands and who contracts and how one moves over that expansion gap.

I see, I am getting a little deep lean waggle but I have the front and rear set up more soft than usual for me searching compliance. I have about 31mm front and 33mm rear sag. I think with the tire profile change (which I like), I want to go exacerbate it a little more and drop my forks say 5-6mm. Little hinge change weight front end might tighten that little loft weight transfer waggle im gettin from torque i think at lean. I'm not feeding in lots of power but as I am standing bike up I am rolling on in same motion and trying to find the sweet spot. You know the one. :)))). The foot pressure palm push roll on power moment when ya slice and drive and E V A P O R A T E and get small! I am close. I like that intake howl so much. I like the 'big bike' feel combined with the grace of the chassis. I like the dominating effect of this machine. Hahaha, always my tangent lately.

C, go out and look at the lower crown, then where the fork leg stops under it. Then from there, look down the leg and see if you can drop 6mm, or the taper is right under the lower crown and you can't drop it any farther. Drop the nose, the front wheel becomes more shopping cart wheel wobble. It turns sooner. If it was farther out, or back to stock it would be more stable like a chopper's front end sticking out. Make sense?

I have them at stock height now in the clamps so 6mm should be fine. It looks like plenty of room before the taper. I feel that faster turn in you are talking about in my head. Yeah i see that. I think that little extra weight on that front end is gonna increase the sensitivity but also the act of weighting the end more might be IT. Might just return the rick solid feel i have at 85% that is fading at 95%. I am not getting instability, just a little almost 'front end slop'. Feels like to my instincts that if I weight that front end a little more and shift the hinge a hair I gets extra front 'track' with less waggle even though input sensitivity is increased. What do you think????

I was hugely surprised at the geometry changed just switching to the 55 made. I almost asked my son if he messed with my suspension. It was that diff. But in a good way. Once sag was re set. Now I am just searching for that cradle through lean feeling some bikes give. Maybe my Jedi reflexes are feeling stiction. :)))
See, mother tea pot should have bestowed us also with that BPF.

Hey Hub! Hahahaha, I figured out what the deep lean waggle I been feeling is!!!! I didn't drop forks at all, promise! I just kept riding after making an adjustment and I felt it again!!! Was like WTF. Go to polish this morning and I found my waggle. I been dipping to bodywork touch, the body doesn't have much rebound damping! :))) check that angle shot line up with scraped peg.
