There...see?That's GOOD news...the bones are growing well.Screws are nicely in place.Those patella screws...ya...they're gonna get that taken care of for ya.Overall...sounds really good to me!Once you start getting some real movement in that knee joint,I think the whole deal is gonna start really healing up well.Gonna have more blood flow goin on.That's gonna definitely jump start everything .

Great ! I thought I had to wait till Wednesday to find out what their going to get them screws out of my Patella, I got the day wrong it's tomorrow @ 1pm, at least I may get a date for the opperation then !!

Me to COOTER I allways new their was some hardware inside my leg that was restricting my bending, hindsight is an annoying thing some times, as when the Doc gave me the bad news (Dec/22/10) that I needed a bonegraft Feb 24/11 & my bending % was not Good enough (after six months) in hindsight why didn't they look into why ? I mean it could of been me being slack & not trying ! (NOT !!!!!) so if they did the same tests back then as just now they would of seen the screws starting to work their way out!and now with "Hindsight" I probably refractured me leg trying to hard to get more bend & also yesterday it was confirmed that that large Shard of bone at the rear that I asked the Surgeon Feb/24/11 to re-position it back he said he would !He did NOT !! So it has left a gaping hole at the rear of my femur 1/3

Wow Bean that sucks but if it makes you feel any better I now wear gear all the time because of your story (well I still wear shorts a lot of the time but I’m working on that) the worst part is that you got a taste of your 14 after a year and now you have to take more time off because of your asshole doctor not doing his job and making things worse!

Geez Beanman...sorry to see that botched repair job.Honestly.I can't imagine any trained doctor leaving your femur looking like that.IF I was a doctor...those two triangular pieces would have been moved into the break,and then secured with a plate like the other side.Still looks like it's not too late for a doc to do that.Would require a rebreak at the top right bone attachment(that one farthest piece),then get them all pulled into each other,and graft some bone in the rebreak...it'd be MUCH smaller than trying to fill that gap of that far right shard.That's just crazy Bean.Sorry my man.This to me looks like a serious piece of malpractice.It does.When she was all busted up,why didn't they move those pointy pieces back into the femur break and secure.You wouldn't be going through all this BS right now.Probably be well healed by now.Amazing.Hard to believe a 'doctor' did that that I see.

Can I ask you?....you don't need to say anything naturally...but....were you trying to bend that leg for quite a while while she was 'healing' up?(going by "Doctor's orders")And those screws in your patella...they were stopping your joint from moving?Do you have any pictures of the 'repaired' femur right after surgery?None of my business I know...but I'd like to see some x-rays of their post surgery work.If they left that like that purposely,something is REALLY wrong IMO.

Yes mate they said I have to get my ROM working better, in fact when I got the crap news back at 22/Dec that Doc said my Range Of Movement was just not Good enough after six months !! Then Post Bone Graft the Surgeon said get your bending moving but No weight Bare, then the Next X-Ray at July they said "You can now have full weight bare & to wean off the crutches in 2-3 weeks & "START Light Duties" I put off going back to work for a further 8 weeks ! started working on the 13th Oct started to feel something not quite right just before I went for the next X-Ray 26th OCT. He said the screws in your patella are working loose & surgested Nothing except i'll

exhusted Tests from them X-Rays,Bone Density Scan,CT Scan, Gallium Scan im back under the knife Hopefully at the latest the 30th of this month.I would like to re-litterate that just pre Bone graft Opp (FEBUARY 24th) I asked the surgeon in front of my wife can you get that "SHARD" back in or remove/replace it! he replied yes! and as the X-Rays reveal he didn't touch that main part and left a big void in the rear of my femur.

What I'm getting at is....IF the patella screws were stopping your joint from moving,then the only thing that COULD move would be the break area...seeing that they did NOT anchor those bones together.If that's what has been happening....someone needs to be accountable for what's happening now.It's really hard for me to imagine a surgeon NOT connecting those pieces together in there at the beginning....when everything was moveable and right there.When they realized the screws were stopping movement,they didn't see that one big far piece sticking out away from the femur?How could they NOT see that...and correct it immediately.Some one messed up big time.I'm pullin for ya...it must be REALLY hard.Sorry Bean.THAT situation needs to be corrected.You can't live your life with a big pointed chunk of bone sticking into your muscle like that.Unacceptable.The bone graft needs to go into the small rebreak,and that big piece needs to get fused to the femur right there.I wouldn't let em get off without getting that right.Even if ya have to sue em for malpractice.Seriously.That's a botched surgery IMO.I can't imagine ANY doctor who is proud and skilled letting that go like it has.This 'putting off' of your further medical condition...that's unacceptable.The longer they wait,the more the tissues are gonna scar up in there,then you'll REALLY have some serious(it already is)deals to contend with.Geez.If you have to tell em....look...this is what I think you need to do...I would,Honestly.Apparently they can't seem to figure out how that bone should actually be.ONE PIECE.SOLID.Not three broken pieces 'trying' to hold things together.

This Sunday im going to the Motercycle Expo & Swap Meet at Gawler 4 kms away from my home at 8am & the MRA ride starts at 9.30am 40 kms away & my best mate Goody and others are heading off from there through the chain of ponds in the Adelaide hills then Goody said he would ring me up to meet up at the Motercycle Expo Swap Meet at about 12.00 (lunch time) & I said to him stuff that! seen as I can't ride on my ZX14 because of the Screws coming out of my Patella im turning up at the EXPO when the gates open so at least if theirs any type of interesting motercycle stuff then at least I wont miss out on that !! He HE so thats one thing i've bin looking forward too for a few weeks then a few days later Under the

Knife !!Hooray and again thank fuck it's getting done Friday week & yes I think i've bin fairly patient for the last 1 year 6 months & three days so far & yes too im thinking as at missed out on compensation from my CTP Compulsary Insurance & lost about $50,000 over that time and Ten Extra months of life wasted through their slack fault I would like some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to account for that !!
