Hey guys!
New guy from Colorado. Just purchased my first 'big bike', a 2006 ZX14. I am no newbie to bikes and this will be eighth or ninth one. They have all been rockets with only two being 600cc and the rest 1000's. Recently I sold my 2010 Yamaha R1 and then the Zx14 literally came knocking on my door. I didn't have any plans on buying another bike anytime soon but I might as well have stole it for what I paid. Long story short an old co worker contacted me needing cash today so I picked it up for $2,100. It is a 2006 with 9058 miles. The plastics have seen better days but I am very particular about my bikes so I notice everything. It has a full Orient Express exhaust, a power commander and fairly new Michellin Pilot Powers. It is getting towards the end of season here in CO as I'm a fair weather rider so it should be a fun winter project. I have attached some pictures to show you guys what I'm working with. It looks like it is missing a few plastics and I know not all the hardware is there. Also there is what looks to be a fuel filter that is capped off dangling on the clutch side of the engine? What are my options for passenger pegs with this exhaust? Anyways she isn't perfect but for price I don't think I did too bad.
