I need '08 or '09 stock header. Anybody that has installed a full aftermarket system and is willing to part with the not needed header, let me know.

Is a stock 07 header any good to ya?? I just took mine off.

That gen 2 header is much heavier than the one from your 07,
the extra cat... I'm sure you're well aware of it.

Do you have a special project going?

I have an eye on Akra dual slip-on's that are supposedly for '08 - '09, not for the '06 - '07. I have decided to just get them and see if I can make them work on my bike. If not, I will need the header, which I can de-gut of the cat inside.

Will keep an eye for a good deal on a header.

You can get the system in SS for less than $1100. Probably not much more than the S/O's and gen2 header.

Hey Newf14...what do you want for your 07 Header?

Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya I have been busy getting my bike ready. I am going to be holding onto the stock header for another while. They are trying to pass a provincial law here concerning loud machines, if it passes i may have no other choice but to put the origional back on. If anything changes ill let you know.

Hey Steven14 might not want to downgrade the stock header like that with the 08 09. Contact Akra and find out the difference between the systems. My guess they wouldn't tool up two different pipes probably do what kaw does and use two different gaskets. Maybe. Or use the appropriate gasket from kaw if the pipe diameters are the same.
