You know what Hub and TRAILBOSS. I've got this, if I could show you guys my tires from this last weekend, BOTH of you motherfuckers would just shut the fuck up! I had dinner tonight with a couple of guys that could BLOW BOTH of you guys completely away. Based on the way both of you guys are talking...YES you too HUB, if you guys will PM me, I'll give you my address and you...OR BOTH of you can come down here and I'll lay GOOD MONEY down that I can make BOTH of you guys go home and...GIVE this to fuck up!! No fuckin worries. I'm fuckin ready. You haven't been embarrassed like this I fuckin promise you. Either come the fuck down here and honestly...you can look ALL you want and pick out the 5-10 miles of twisty's OR HALLETT MOTOR SPEEDWAY, I don't give a FUCK which one you pick. I PROMISE YOU that BOTH of you guy's will shut the FUCK UP!!! Geeezus HUB, I REALLY had a LOT of respect for you before all of this shit!! TRAILBOSS, you too!!
I still do have TON'S of respect for BOTH of you guys, BUT...both of you guys got to give this SHIT UP!!! HUB...I love you man, there's noooo question that you've earned your stars, VERY, knowledgable and I KNOW you've done all you say you've done. I can tell by the things you have to say!! TRAILBOSS, you have too!!! But Geeeezus guys...it's like I told a buddy of mine this last weekend...PART of being an expert is setting an example! HUB...you've been a wonderful example right up until this SHIT!!!
I really haven't spoke my mind up until now, but you NEEED to give this up OR you're gonna lose the respect of all of those you've gained it from up until this. Man...that's too much time, work and energy put into something to lose it all over ONE situation you have NO control over!!! There's NO question in my mind that BOTH of you guys are GREAT riders in you're own right. But you guys are really fucking up the newer riders perception of who you are, what you say and if WHAT you say is worth a SHIT or not!!
CHILL the FUCK out and quit this. I've been riding since I was 4.5 years old, racing since I was 6, I still this last weekend stayed within 200 yards of a guy that's within .20 seconds of the lap record at HALLETT here in Oklahoma. Come on down and leave you're ego at home cause I PROMISE YOU we'll fuck up your ego...COMPLETELY!!! If your willing to give me some shit back, fuck posting on this forum and just send me a PM...I'll pay your way down here, If I win...you pay your way home, if you win...I'll pay your way home. No excuses and NO worries. I've been beat before. That's exactly how a true racer would put it.
Love both of you guys to death, much respect for BOTH, but there are too many new guys on here to be seeing this shit. You should know better HUB, I've been seeing your post's for a long time and I KNOW you should know better.

Hold on sick, this is for my buddy...
Okay, back to business. What's up, sick? I'm bored. What is a little entertainment going to do, upset the whole community? There's nothing here but pizza and donuts. I like playing with the runner uppers. For example, I joined a firebird site or the honda equivalent, entered a thread I knew something about. Had the locals climb up my rear end I pointed out an air adjusting screw on the bike. Guys are going back and forth calling me all this and that. You know damn well they found that screw and threw me right out of that site. Laughed!!! It was so much fun seeing these know-it-all's about their own bike, run up to me and tell me otherwise. And I sort of know it generically like every [almost every] bike has one? D'uh.
So, who's got this? Do you want it? Take it over. All I'm doing is noting the guy is up too many members and for what? It's not about his riding, it's about he riding others, not sticking to the OP. I'm trying to help the [OP] guy, this one throws a rant from the tree, there goes the poor guys thread.
Hey, I take the blame. I could have let it go, let the guy do whatever. He's burnt out enough. he's got nothing but...

Oh, also, Norm is the "N" in K&N as in K&N filters? You can look it up, no worries, please do look it up. See if Norm McDonald and Ken Johnson's name doesn't come up in there somewhere. Believe it or not, I could tell you (from the horses mouth) EXACTLY how ALL that came to be. But...I would NEVER betray Norm like that. I truly love you guys, I'm really just giving you a hard time. You just need to know that you aren't the ONLY ones that have a....SHAKE or two left on your tray. It's all good TRAILBOSS, still love to show you my tires sometime though!!! LMFAO!!!!

I'm right there with you sickninja. Don't get pulled in by the tide man. It's pointless.
It's getting boring, and is already childish and humiliating for those involved. Hell..... the OP has already been pulled. No doubt as a result of this.
And before anyone asks...... NO I'M NOT THAT FAST!!! lmfao

Yup, an uphill right hander with a little hump (made the bike light) and..."HOLY FUCKIN SHIT HELP ME JESUS LORD"!! Sad part is, I was in the number 3 position and when I came up on that spot saw his tennis shoe in the road. I thought, "That looks like Keith's shoe!", then...Naaaah can't be, he wouldn't keep riding without his shoe!! I went ALL the way back into town and when Rider No. 1 was there, No rider No. 2 I was Ohhhhh shit!!! He was probably 30 feet off the road and I honestly couldn't see him!!

Jesus... That's a nightmare situation there. I hate looking for scrape marks on pavement!
Did you guys have to airlift him, or was the damage isolated to the limb?
A side note: Tennis shoe? You boys out squidding it with no gear? I was kinda wondering how he got that kind of trauma with gear on.

You know TB, he and I had that conversation not 30 minutes before this happened. Seriously, not 30 minutes before I told him, he obviously hadn't busted his ass enough yet. I told him, you have to dress for the crash and if you want to profess to be an expert, part of that is setting an example! He really did understand but you know how those kind of guys are. He really is a good rider, BUT, track riding and racing give you such a different perspective about what CAN and DOES happen that there's no comparison!
Seriously, I know a LOT of good STREET guys that get weak at the knees on their first track experience! It just takes you into a layer that riding on the street can't take you! All of you guys on this forum, guys like you and HUB and Cblast and so on that have track experience can really attest to that. It's just...different, MUCH faster, MUCH riskier, MUCH more exhilarating, I mean, when you're on the track it's just crazy different. Street riding becomes a trip to church on Sunday morning! I really hated it for him, what worries me more than anything is that I hope it doesn't break his spirit.
You've seen it before, some guy that really has potential crashes and he's never the same after that. For us guys that have been lucky enough, OR sick enough in the head for it to make us that much more determined it just makes us crazy to see that happen. We don't understand it, but they really get effected by it. I really think he could really ride if this doesn't mess him up.

This really does cut to the heart of it sic. Once a person becomes acclimatized to a track pace, the street is taken less seriously. The street pace unless ya find some deserted roads is just too slow. It sometimes leads me to take risks on the street that I wouldn't normally take. I have to watch myself. And once we start to dissect lines and deep lean body positioning etc., we are really discussing personality. There are times when my line doesn't quite mirror the racing line. Priscilla is a big bike, I play to her strengths, look for that apex that gives me longer drives to maximize her. Instinctively when riding, a track/race experience rider often tends to take a different or more aggressive line. The line that blocks, or the line that pisses off the guy in front of you sometimes gives an edge. Once we our confident enough in our abilities at lean it becomes more our personalities out there. Causes a lot of passionate debate. I hear it all the time. It's a part of the fun that drives us all. That seeking of the speed that satisfies. I find it usually comin off a corner hot in 2nd, and I find it often somewhere about 9000 in 5th on the way hard to flat out. Floatin 3rd is pretty sexy too.
