Sounds like your happy that's all that matters. But do have any issues with the system being so light and having all those springs with noise. My micron system only has 4 springs on the whole system. The Akrapovic system that's on my GSXR 1000 is hydra formed also with very few welds and springs. Believe me there is nothing wrong with the torque curve on either one there's no dips what so ever. Lets put it this way you have to be down right crazy to pass either one of them if I don't want you to. Your boy Scottjkyl is crazy! I can tell. I like that.

To much to list!

Here is a picture of my CT-DUAL exhaust system (minus cans) since it just arrived an hour ago from the ceramic coaters. They did a great job, soon as I get my stainless steel flanges back from the shop I'll hang it and put the cans on and then I can fire it up and set TPS for the PC.

Classic Coatings is top-notch. They completely understood that the slip joints needed to be masked so no coating got on them.

The inside is coated with THLB, which is an ultra-high temperature racing ceramic. The outside is their Black Satin ceramic which is 2,000 degree stuff.

Very reasonable cost as well.

What'd you end up having to give for the job, if you don't mind my asking?

I think the basic cost for the Black Satin was around $230 plus shipping. I also had them use TLHB on the inside instead of just using Black Satin inside and out, which added $50. So about $290 plus shipping.

At least the exhaust ships cheap, broken down it fits in a small-ish box and it weighs nothing. :)

Well... Got my stainless steel flanges from my machinist friend with the laser bed CNC cutter. Absolutely perfect! Now the exhaust studs thread all the way through the nuts with thread to spare.

Will hang the exhaust Saturday morning.

Found a great deal on a Brocks CT single. Just ordered a PCV and the flies will be going bye-bye soon....

What year is yours? Pre-08? If it 08 or later, leave the flies in, it won't make enough difference to be worth the effort.

I considered getting a PC5, but I don't need the autotune or the one or two tweaks it offers.

privateer - its an 09. I already have the JIS screwdriver (ordered when I had the Concours). The flies are coming out...I need all the help I can get at the strip! I found the PCV at kneedraggers for less than I could get a pc3 anywhere else.

If you are drag racing, that is different. But you'll get more speed and lower et by doing a proper exended swingarm (a lot, ask Slow lol) and lowering than you will from taking the flies out.

I know the price on the PC5 at kneedraggers, its very good, but my PC3 from Brocks cost almost $100 less. And unless you did something else, you can't beat me in the 1/4 with my 08 having the flies in. :)

I'm just saying, unless you are making it into a full-time drag racer, leave the flies in. Most everyone who knows the ZX14 agrees.

PC3 from Brocks is 349.95. I got the PC5 for 277 shipped from Kneedraggers. Did you get a discount?

I can't beat anyone at the dragstrip yet as I am a total n00b. So far I have a strap for the front and will pickup some adjustable dogbones at some point. No extensions until I get more seat time. Once I stop making progress at SWB I will consider swingarm extensions etc.

most the exhaust systems i've read here so far didn,t get a mentioned by my quacker dealer in regards to be "backed" under their warranty before I bought my 09,so under thier an my dyno's direction I bought leovince, an true to thier word(claiming for the r/hand side )after my stack, my insurer SWAN was not gunna cover me for my cans untill it was confirmed by KAWASAKI it was one of only three brands they would cover !! JUST my 2cents worth no offence men can't show before but after shows they replaced the leovince can on right hand side !

here in the states our ins covers the cost it would be to replace the oem exhaust which is well over $2000 and they dont care what exhaust you have on it. I called ins b4 dropping $2000 on an exhaust just to be sure

I have been thinking about changing my 4 to 2 to 1 roaring toyz system back to a system with dual cans. After reading this thread and hearing how pleased scott and privateer are with there systems I have decided to change up my exhaust and get the brocks CT Dual system. I just ordered it today and it should be arriving next tues or wed.

Thanks for Helping Me make my decicion.

Well I'm not going to talk bad about anybodys pipes but my 2cents is the Akro.. The Akro. is the way to go my set up gives me great proformance all over the place it's not to load, looks good, not heavy at all and the fit and finsh is great.

I think what it comes down to whatever your set up is as far as powercommander, pipe, map and then the rider!

Hey Bean, do your leovince pipes accomodate the centre stand stopper or did you have to modify them?
