Motomummy
08/25/12 12:55 PM

I just bought a product from a company called Motomummy out of Texas. It's a speedo conversion device. It's $70 and the size a little bigger than a quarter. It got very good reviews.I saw a video where they had their product and the Speedohealer hooked to a electronic device that measured impulses. They dropped their device in a glass of water, still worked. They dropped the other one in and nothing, ruined it.My bodywork is still off waiting for some device.Almost got the Muzzy but I didn't want to chop any wires up.Took my bike for a small ride with my wifes Gps and at 70 GPS said 63.With my 43/16 gearing it's way off.So I'll tell ya how it went after install and setup.I lost my temper while trying in vain to recalibrate my Speedohealer. So I beat it to death against the concrete with my 36oz ballpean hammer.End of review.

I'm done being mad.I'm usually not violent. The hammer was there and so was the speedohealer.I should get the other device next week. The hammer is in the house so no more entertaining.

I got my SpeedoDRD in the mail yesterday.I put it on a little while ago.It took me 5 minutes to install it and calibrate it.The wire is a little short.I was able to route it under the top left heat rubber.I took it for a ride and at 70 it read 4 grand which I checked on gearcommander it's seems to be right.I'll put the body work back on and check it against Jenns GPS.

I'm sure you could find something in the house to evaluate the ballpean hammer further. Good to hear about the SpeedoDRD .

I just put my bodywork back on.Forgot how much work was involved doing it all at once.My back is wasted.I'm just in too bad of shape to keep this up.Glad it's over.I'm going riding tomorrow no mater what.
