Need gearing help please

Hey fellow 14 peeps I need help. I'm putting on a full muzzy exhaust an Ivan tre. I need a new chain an sprockets as well so what's the best gearing for me and my weight. I'm 6'1" 258 lbs.

I don't wanna loose to much fuel mileage or top end.

Please help
16 f 41r is what I'm thinking ?
Please help trying to order today



zx14 white bike + white wheels= cleaner than the board of health
2007 hayabusa black out brocks and vortex everything..

All will depend your riding style. If sport 16/43 New chain not required or 17/45 with chain. Seems be this bikes sweet spot. Not for touring. Have fun. Big change. Love it.

Lots of people say a 16T will make a whining noise. There is a certain Zephyr 16T that has rubber damper like OEM and it is supposed to be quiet like OEM.

Rook, I'm disappointed! All that grease on that first drive sprocket is corrupting your measurements! What were you thinking! Rofl

I'm running 16/41 and it seems to be the ideal for multi duty. Works well for lowend grunt and pulling the corners but doesn't lose much on the top. Still does well for the long trips too (you can still stay down in the revs for long hauls)

Shoulda cleaned the white powder residue off the scales first Rook. Why do you weight talcum powder again???

Yo...Rook...that aint fair.You have TWO sheets of paper on those countershaft sprockets,and only ONE on those rears.Reweigh...not accurate.

Heathun...don't make me put my 41 back on there...please.I haven't even run in my 16/43 for this year yet!

Rook, lots of pics. Why none of your bike with New chain and New sprockets installed ? Curious did you get a blue chain to match sprocket ? I saw that pic you posted in test section with the old chain on the new sprocket, say it isn't so ?
