I need to mount my GPS on my new bike. Before I do the same thing as I did on the old 14, I was wondering if you could post pics of how you mounted your GPS.

I've got my Garmin GPS mounted using a ram mount. I'm now at the stage of tring to supply power to it.
Has anyone mounted a cigarette lighter outlet up near or on their handlebars?
One alternative method I've used in the past is to put a cigarette lighter outlet under the seat and permanently route the Garmin cigarette power cable permanently up to the handlebars. The hassle with this idea is that the cigarette lighter power cable draws a small amount of current, even when the GPS isn't connected, so I feel like I have to unclip the seat and disconnect the power cable when not in use to avoid draining the battery.
Anyone have any other methods?

I've got a Ram Mount steering stem kit, which is similar to the first picture by runnerhiker. Pretty versatile with all the adapters they make. Got a GoPro HD camera for Christmas this year, so I'll be trying that in place of the GPS this season too.
As for the power supply, its not the cheapest option, but one of the cleanest I found was from Powerlet:

I bought this kit, but had it custom made for me to length, without any coiled wire, a fuse, and a SAE connection to use the battery tender pigtail I already had setup. I routed it under the fairings and can still connect/disconnect it easily right next to the battery cover.
