I doubt a stock gen2 will go 200. If it does it wouldn't be by much. Somefun got his gen1 slightly over 200 at a LSR event with bst wheels, head and throttle body work and a shot of nitrous and who knows what else. It's not as easy as you might think.

As easily as this bike climbs to actual 186 mph, I can't believe it would be much of a struggle to hit 200 on it. It's virtually effortless to red line it in 6th. At most it would have to be one or two teeth less on the rear sprocket. I'm speaking of the 14R (2012+), which does make some difference in terms of power (and also some refinement), I think around 20-30 more hp on the dyno (14 ~160, 14R ~180-190).

How disappointing, it's time to trade this barge for something lighter.
that's not going to help
Or go a bit heavier and get a 14r. That's been run at a little over 200 with just a pipe and PC.

Theoretical top speed on a stock 14R with speed limiter removed and no other mods is about 201 at redline of 11,000.
When I originally posted this I was looking at different specs, this is correct now.
The 186 mph / 300 kph limit was the result of an agreement between the European Union and the manufacturers several years ago to avoid legislation. The EU told the manufacturers they could either voluntarily restrict their bikes or they would pass restrictive laws which would be severe, discussions eventually led to the 300 kph limit. Odd that the EU only cracked down on motorcycles and not automobiles! Bike makers didn't have the political clout to fight like Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, etc. would have.
