Project : MOD Install
05/29/13 8:32 AM

I've decided to install the following MODS at one time because of the access I'll have and I don't wanno have to keep removing all the cowlings. I'll try and get some pics as I go along with this install.

Mod list:

Brock CT Daul exhaust
PCV
LSL Frame slider
Yosh Eliminater finder kit
Muzzy Fan
Secondary Fan
Engine Ice
Cox Rad Guard
Driven D3 Grips

just go with a couple L brackets from a hardware store for fender eliminator. cheaper. Lighter.

those drivens are a bitch to get on and .....when time comes to replace them....cut is the only wat to remove. Use a large socket that fits over the clipon bar to tap the end of the D3. That is only way you will get them on. the aluminum does not expand like full rubber grips do. Use a LOT of soap to lube the grips and bars. Also check length of grips to length between bar end and control pods....seems to me the D3 are a little too short. The throttle grip will not cover the inner flange of the throttle tube...just a small gap.

....or was that you that was just posting about installing these??

well, good luck with all of the mods. Very ambitious considering we are entering the height of riding season.
