Grn14 I try to be a positive and supportive member. I realize everyone has something to offer. The feud between you and Hub is not productive or healthy for this site. You should not be talking about Hub (just like I would hope that Hub is not talking about you). Take the first step, do the right thing, and let it go. I want to see what you, GRN14, can bring to the table to make this site a better place.

You know Spy...it never HAS been a feud between me and Hub....as much as it got skewed to LOOK like that...it wasn't.If you re-read my posting above...about Hub's 'goal' for every website he's on....that's exactly what was happening.I was the diversion....easy to blame me.I've know about his plan for a long time...because I DO care about this site...I finally made things (partially) known about what was REALLY happening here.The site is safe now....corny as it sounds...it is.If I NEVER post up again....at least everyone else can...without the BS tearing things apart.That's all I'll say about that anymore.

For now. Hub was the biggest offender. He just wouldn't stop ragging on people. I just did what I said I would do if I had to keep deleting messages.

I would love to have the "old" Hub back. He as helped hundreds of folks here with technical assistance. He has been with us since the beginning. Very difficult decision... I want to thank him very much for all of the contributions he has made here over the years.

But we need to clean this place up. Even if we end up with only 5 active members... There are still a few more that may need to go. We'll see...

I'm sorry if I've pissed anybody off in doing this. I'm sure I have. I would prefer to be completely hands off, but the forum was self-destructing.

BG, Thank you for the work you put into this forum. At times it can seem like a thankless job. So in case we don't say it often enough - Thank You.

I, like many members, support whatever decision you have to make. I will miss the volumes of knowledge that Hub brought to the table. Perhaps one day he can return.

I appreciate the congrats... Whole bunch of cool (or at least what I think is cool) shit going on from tomorrow through Laguna. Won't be around here much. So long as no one else calls Greenie on his bullshit, I'd imagine things will be peachy keen.

I'll grant Hub polluted a lot, but he's not the one I would have banned if it was my site.

I might have given him a warning though, a 3 page thread blown out to 10 pages because Hub posted 20 nonsensical messages to it doesn't do anyone any good.

And even then, Hub is not the only one who blew relatively short discussions out into multiple pages with repetitive posts.

If BG really surveyed the existing threads it would become clear. Most of us know it, we've read them. Just saying... if you are going to ban, you should understand where the problem is coming from. And it wasn't just Hub.

And Hub may have been argumentative when he made sense, and even when not, but there are far more vicious people still posting on this forum.
