I have had one in since the bike was new and all I get is a tiny bit of metalic sludge on mine at each oil change. Theres one in every gearbox on a jet engine, it gives you the heads up on impending failure, if you start seeing big chunks its time to tear it down or trade it in!

To much to list!

LOL just got my Goldplug (proudly made in Montana) today and it came with installation instructions which is less necessary than the new gasket they include. Always glad to get a new drain plug gasket but I'm starting to develope a collection heheh. They'll last me 4 oil changes, easily if I don't overtorque. ah well. Fun to post pics of stuff i get for the bike that no one else will ever see. (BTW< Blue....the instructions say to just give the plug to your mech and let him install if you don't do your own oil changes. Those Montanaites are mighty trusting folk LOL)

Hey Blue You Better check....Just drain all the oil out and screw the plug back in and then if no oil drips out after you refill with fresh oil U have it in right. LMAO!

Wait a minute... blue07 didn't get no instructions? Maybe they sent his to me.

All the tips I've gotten from blue over the past 2 years on this forum, I can't believe his "why is the red light on" story. Heh
