Document / Reg & Insurance paper storage?
03/18/10 3:11 AM

I miss the custom lockable storage compartment that my old ZX11 had located in the left inner dash/faring face. I really wish that the ZX14 had somewhere, other than under the seat, to store your papers for your bike. I did see chrome storage tubes (more for hogs than sport bikes) and the Grifter storage box that mounts behind your license plate.

Other than in a zip lock bag under the seat...... what is everyone else doing ???

I put my papers in a zip lock bag(water proofing) and keep it in the compartment where the tools are stored, underneath the tool bag.

I keep my license and registration and insurance card in my wallet. It doesn't need to be on the bike, nobody else is gonna ride the bike but me. Unless someone steals it. In which case they will have to get their own documents. :)

since my bike didn't come with the tool kit, I just keep it in the tool box.

obviously you would tell them what you are going for, they don't really like it around here either.
