A lot of us don't live anywhere close to a dynamometer.

I'm assuming when A&A Performance puts the supercharger on my ZX14, they will put it on their dyno, tweak the map to adjust for the blower, and give me a printout.

There is one real close now, found it on the DynoJet website, the dynamometer locator page. Google so rules!

So I'll go get one of mine, as it sits, maybe one with Brock's street/strip map, and one with Jeffo's (if he ever sends it to me, lol).

I'll post them, because it will be a good baseline for discussion.

Only chart (other than datalogging, which is useful for racers) we need is rear wheel horsepower. :)

Yo Dogo....what's yer camera mounted on there...and what field of view are you getting with it sittin there?Looks GOOD my man.I've been tryin to come up with someplace to mount mine so it'll be out of the way of my chest when I tuck in for the corners and stuff. It works pretty well where it is now....just above and in front of the gas cap area. But it would be nice to be able to full tuck without pushing on it sometimes.

I know it looks kinda..."unprofessional"...but it takes really good quality vids right there.Had to come up with some sort of vibration dampers for it...the sticks. They work excellent though.WTH,I'm only takin pictures. Can't find some sort of "mounting" that'll have er sittin like right there...and look,well...."professional" Yours now...that looks good.Love yer setup for your LCD PC.VERY NICE job!

You know...they do make a Carbon Fiber dash cover....Very nice quality. If ya want,I'll find the web site for ya.Would go perfect with yer other carbon bits!Sweet bike man...really.Got yer speedohealer Top Speed recall right where I have mine! These bikes are SO friggin cool.Love it!

I'm just using the suction mount, Blue. It's stuck at the very back of the concave in the tank cover with the arm extended towards the gauge cluster. All the vid is recording is the instuments. It's bouncey.

Sure did Dogo! I'm getting 41 mpg cruising on the highway and 35 mpg in the city. I ve got 154 hp amd 94 tq which are humble numbers but they should keep me satisfied until I can put my hands on ct duals. Then I'm taking her to the dentist for a tooth extraction (front sproc). That should be all my mods for the summer. how many ponies and tq r u pushing with your current set up on both 14?

Both? I only have one. My '06 lost a rod 2 years ago.
I've never put my 14 on a dyno, but with the current set up, I'd probably see #'s in the 180's... 190's on a "happy" dyno. The map I've been running put down 184hp and 107tq, in another forum member's bike. (IIRC)

LMAO!

that's where I'm trying to get then I'm done with the power mods (I think) and will focus on suspension, brakes and shed some weight battery, rims etc.

Yeah, I know, Slow... and your bike should have about 10hp + on mine with the thin head gasket, adjustable cam gears, and sb6.

BTW... found the chart for the map I've been using:

No worries... no bubble to pop... Not my bike... that chart is for one of the maps I've run... besides, I don't care what my bike puts down on a dyno... Seat 'o' da pants, it's strong and smooth.
