Ready to Roak-n-Roll 2012

Had to make some flat plate brackerts to lower the Scorpions 1 1/8" Sorry for the blurry pic.

Also figured out how to cut the stock rear center fairing piece. This is what I did to secure the back half. The front half re-attached as before.

Excellant !

Pretty much the same as I did mine, gotta love those SW-Motech frames. Or are they Givi? Can't quite tell.

First trip will probably be a long weekender to Arkansas in May. Plotting a week-long bookended by two weekends to Colorado and Wyoming in July. Also trying to stir up some interest in riding to Pennsylvania and the Pocono Mountains. Gotta see how long tires are gonna last on this beast.

They are the Motech racks. These are a lot lighter than the ones I had on my ZZR 1200. Does Givi even make racks for the ZX-14?

Yes. The sidecases are V35s and the topcase is an E36 Givi that was originally a sidecase on a ZZR 1200. It has the "Kawasaki" logo where the "Givi" badge would normally be.

Can you tell the difference with that X screen on? I was thinking about getting one my self.

I'm 6'3" and the wind still hits me in the neck. Adjusting it seems to make small differences in turbulence, but I haven't had it on a long ride yet to experiment. Thinking about going to the ZGST screen and adding an X-Screen to that. The MRA is almost exactly the same size as stock with a small upturn at the rear.
