There must be a million Vesra brake pads there. Any idea on how to narrow it down to what fits on the ZX-14?

I'm runnin' Vesrah RJL's on the 14. They work as advertised. I've run them on the last 3 bikes I've owned and you will not be dissapointed if you are looking for improved braking performance and feel.
Quoted from kurvygirl.com an authorized Vesrah dealer:
The vesrah pad code for Both the ZX-14 and '07-'09 ZX-6R is VD-444
At this time only the SRJL-XX compound is available.
Sorry no RJL or SRJL-17 compounds are available.
Soooo, Cutback were did you find RJL's for the 14.
Or are you running the SRJL-XX's?
At $120/caliper ($240 for the front wheel) they better be really good!
Romans, update on those REF pads, you still like them, rotor wear?
FA254 is an EBC Organic Rear (non HH)
Organic pads feature:
Worlds top selling organic pad
Fingertip stopping power
Superb brake "feel"
Zero rotor damage
Do you have the # off the front pads? REF may be repackaging these?
At $60 shipped for both wheels, seems like a heck of a deal.
I'm trying to decide on new pads, more recommendations welcome.
Anybody try these from Gafler:
G1054 - GG Rated Street Compound. Moderate initial bite, progressive braking power, and very kind to rotors. The 1054 is an excellent pad to use for commuting and sport touring.
G1370 - HH Rated Sintered Street Compound. This high-performance street pad uses the same formulation as the track/race G1375 race compound. A lower percentage of metallics results in less rotor wear than competing sintered varieties. Great for canyon carving and aggressive street riding.
G1375 - HH Rated Sintered Track Compound: The preferred pad of many top-ranked club level racers, privateers, and trackday riders. Same compound as the 1370, but with the addition of a ceramic-coated backplate to prevent heat-related fade. Consistent, powerful braking lap after lap.

I would think so.
Those are JL's, seem to be recommended for the Concours?
Maybe Cutback's running JL's
RJL – The Road/Race Pad – is described as “ideal for track days”. Originally developed for endurance racing, they are a sintered metal pad with up to twice the life of normal pads. Vesrah RJL pads are also said to have a very low bed-in time – users merely need brake twice on the track, and the pads are ready for full use. The pads are 4mm thick with a steel backplate to achieve SK-5 (highest heat resistance). Its heat rating is VSR400HHH. The brake pads provide “good initial bite with low lever effort,” says the company.
JL – the road/off-road pad is made from sintered metal, suitable for road and off-road riding. The compound includes copper, tin, graphite and other metallic elements, giving them high temperature stability. With a full range of high performance applications, JL pads are suitable for all weather, all year round use. Vesrah says the Japanese pads are 3.2mm thick, with a heat rating of VSR400HH and are compatible with stainless steel discs.
RJL's are HHH rated, JL's are HH rated.
Maybe the JL's would do the trick.

CycleJunkie,
I had EDR Performance in Portland,OR order them for me. You should be able to find plenty of sources that will order them for you. Took about a week to get them to me. You will love them if you go this route! Good luck.

Cutback,
Which compound are you using, JL's or SRJL-XX's?
These seem to be the only 2 available for the 14.
Thanks

CycleJunkie,
Sorry I didn't see your post. Some how missed it. I'm runnin RJL's. You do not want to run SRJL's on the street as they require some heat build up to work properly. They are a track only pad. I do not know what the XX designation stands for but, I think the stock 14 brakes so well stock (for what it is) that I don't think you would notice much improvement, if any, with the JL's.
