Yes, the stock cowl fits over the seat without issue.

It's a great seat...I just didn't end up liking it better than my Sargent, plus my wife bought me the storage pod for my Sargent for Xmas and I don't need two seats.
While it's about the same height as stock, it is a bit narrower at the front which makes it seem a bit lower, especially when stopped at a light etc.
Why am I craving a nice, tall glass of iced tea all of a sudden?

How does the seat look on the bike with the cowl on? Does it raise the cowl up, or is it sitting down nice like the stock seat?
I work in kitchener, and drive by cambridge everyday.

With the cowl on, it sits slightly higher than with the stock seat, but it's not really noticeable.
Rook has a post on the board that shows what his cowl looks like with his Saddlemen seat.

I was interested until I saw that the fit isn't as good as stock once the solo seat cover is installed on top of it.
I am a little anal in that respect, and something like that would probably bother me.....
That being said where do you work in Waterloo?
