Been lurking for awhile, thought I'ld introduce myself. Name is Curtis and bought my 14 about 2 months ago. My daughter and I took a rode trip the first week I had it. Put close to 3000 miles on it doing a trip from SoCal to Canada, me on my 14 and her on a ZX10R. This bike is great for long hauls, especiallyif your pulling 57 years like me. I've been rideing about 40 years on street bikes and currently own a 97 Honda CBR900RR, 2000 Suzuki TL1000R, 05 GSXR1000. Hope to learn alot about the 14 here.

2006 CBR1100xx with a few mods + V Star 1300A Cobra swept exhaust,Fi2000 EFI,Big air kit, Rad cover/Guard,Forward controls/pegs,Pillion mini boards,screen,rack,Saddleman seat a few chrome bits.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I live in the high desert in Apple Valley. About 90 miles NE of LA. Being a geezer I still have to learn about posting pics. Wish me luck

Onefastgeezer, Apple Valley huh...I'm to the west of you in the Antelope Valley. I have a few friends that live in Victorville and Phelan. We have to ride together...

loadedmind, I do believe that Onefast stated that he was 57.

Bears is right, 57. Sounds good on the ride. I get over that way quite often going to willow springs either doing track days or watching the club races. Went to the Mojave Mile a couple weeks ago at the airport in Mojave. The next thing on the bucket list.

welcome its great that your kid like to join the old man for a little fun MY girl is four and when she hears me gearing up she allways asks daddy can I ride the bike with you lol she is a natural
