Last month I asked this forum about Ivan's Performance Products. Ivan worked on my 09 zx14 and here is a summary of the experience.

In visiting Ivan's Performance Products in Congers, NY months back I was impressed with the facility. The commercial space is large, clean, organized and well equipped. It was quickly apparent that Ivan has a history in the business and a passion for what he does. Ivan and I discussed ways to improve my stock 09 zx14. I was looking for better throttle response, and ways to reduce heat and vibration. I stressed that while power/performance is important, smooth 'streetability' is paramount. Ivan presented different options for me to think about..
Earlier this month I delivered the bike to Ivan and signed up for the complete zx14 package: 4-2-1 Akrapovic full exhaust, PCV, Ignition module, and other recommended 'tweaks'.
After picking up the bike a week later I couldn't be happier. The results are much, much better than expected.
* Smooth and even engine idle - much better than stock.
* Excellent throttle response - The bike revs easier and pulls like a freight train right off idle through the entire rpm range. In all gears.
* Less vibration - Absolutely no vibes coming through the handlebars, even for extended periods (250 mile day).
* Less heat. 2-3 bars on the water temperature indicator, vs 4-5 bars for stock.
* Akrapovic exhaust - Five star quality. Looks and sounds great.
* Better fuel economy. Stock delivered 38 or 39 mpg. Driving to Cape Cod last weekend (back roads) bike delivered 42.5 mpg.
The bike responds better to my inputs and has improved my riding.
Ivan's fuel and ignition 'maps' are key to the bike's performance. He knows his business like very few people and is a true professional.
