FS 08 SE ZX-14, cheap, damaged plastics
05/08/10 7:59 PM

I've crashed it last summer and kept it stored for a while until I replaced this sprocket this spring and got it running again. I don't see, feel, or know of any other damage to engine or any vital parts. However, all plastics except for the replaced head fairing are damaged or scratched. I'm intending to sell this bike to someone who's interested in modding it and/or changing color scheme and hence isn't much interested in the plastics anyway. This way I can save time and money by not having to buy full set of plastics and you save time and money by not having to sell stock plastics.

I currently ride the bike with scratched plastics, kind of looks badass. Took it to 165mph on the highway a couple of times in the past two weeks and the bike runs great.

Frankly, I'm not sure what to price it. I did crash it, but at the same time, it runs great. The only semi-serious damage is bent rear subframe, but I can replace that before sale - the subframe is around $225 on eBay.

It also has slightly bent stock muffler on one side, and muffler on the other side is missing (I borrowed a stock one from a friend temporarily). Finally, the rubber on the throttle has a crack in it, but it seems just cosmetic.

Enhancements:
- Puig dark smoke double-bubble screen
- Engine Ice for coolant
- Muzzy radiator fan
- Cat-less headers
- Xeon 55W low-beam headlights... BRIGHT as crap!

In good condition these are selling for average of $8,500 on cycletrader. I' asking $6,500 for mine. Selling for no other reason other that I need cash.

Pics after repairs (I can take more tomorrow):

Thanks for the idea - I will take a lot more pictures soon to show every bit of damage. Or maybe I'll just make a youtube video. Been slammed recently.

I wanna sell this quick, too, so dropping price to $6,250!
